nope its Famicom with an "m". Because well it stood for "Family (Fami) Computer (Com)". And your NES that you stuck with was essentially the same thing.
i still own a famiclone launched in the late 80s called family game, it looks almost exactly like the famicom only it had 42 games in its memory and no region lock
