As title say's, what's everyone's favourite Resident Evil?
I would have to say mine is between Resident Evil 3 & Code Veronica X.

I still haven't played Resident Evil Revelations....
He said pick a favorite (as in one)...you're pretty much listing all of them. Anyways, as for me, that would be RE;Code Veronica.
- Resident Evil REmake (Gamecube)
- Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
- Resident Evil 2
- Resident Evil 4
- Resident Evil Code Veronica
- Resident Evil Zero
- Resident Evil 5

RE 2 is the best for me, it would be the REmake but i just hate the puzzlesin that game so damn much. If they remade the original trilogy with RE revelations (amazing game btw) contorls i would pay so much money for tyhat
Without a doubt, Resident Evil 2 for me. That game wowed me visually when it came out, it actually managed to make me jump a few times, and the story was a masterful, layered, conspiracy-woven that kept you on edge as you tried to simply survive.
And how cool was The Licker the first time you saw it?

I made a list, with number 1 representing my favorite.
Lol.
Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2. The music and dialog are the best in these two, imo. The others lack a bit of character.
Resident Evil 4.
Especially on the Wii. This is one of the games that just HAS to be played on the wii

I am extremely fond of the original Resident Evil game, but the gamecube remake is probably the best survival horror game I've ever played. So that one. All this thread is doing is making me lament the fact that this series is dead. Part of me still wishes if I keep revisiting the same rooms over and over again, the Resident Evil series will return as an ultra powered crimson head version of itself...
RE: remake on the GC hands down. Second place would have to go to RE2 on the PS.
Shenmue_Jehuty
Second place probably RE 3 Nemesis, full of thrills and bangs, third place for RE4 that funds itself on shooting mainly
[QUOTE="fend_oblivion"]Resident Evil 4. When I played the older RE games, they were too old to be any scary. I didn't like the archaic gameplay at all. Resident Evil 4 on the other hand was unsettling at times. There were definitely lot of jumps. The Regenerators, the dogs in the garden maze, the U3 cage escape etc come to mind. I've played RE 4 so many times that they don't freak me out as much but it definitely kicks in the adrenaline ;) RE 4 is one of the finest Action-Adventure games. If it wasn't for RE 4, I wouldn't have bothered with the RE series at all. The best way to play RE 4 is without upgrading your weapons. Survival really becomes the name of the game and there is a constant pressure to use your resources wisely because there's no telling when you can run out of ammo and healing items. SpinnerwebThe Regenerators were really scary  And the dogs jumping out at you was kind of jump-shock-scary :P
When Iron Maiden did on the scene yes was enough scary but due to sound effects and so tension music

I agree with this.
RE4. just loved the new gameplay. resurrected the series imo.
i propably still put most hours on RE2, though.
yeah I could count on one hand the people who liked that game. Mine got to be RE2 just because I have great memories of it. My least fav is re4 just because it wasn't a re gameWell, it's notable among everybody, nobody named RE zero as his favorite game, lol

I feel the same way. Though I did get to see RE-RE3 being played in action a few times (and they were rather scary back then), I didn't actually play them myself until long after they came out. By then they were dated and old, and though I can appreciate them, the flaws are MUCH more pronounced.
RE4's only problem now is the control scheme and need to be still when aiming, so its aged rather well for an 8 year old game. It was a damn good game that changed a lot about not only RE, but games in general, to the point that Gears of War took its aiming inspiration from RE4.
Gotta be Resident Evil 2. I remember when that game first came out. Went to my cousin house, and we played it all night, eventually beat it. The puzzles were just perfect: not to easy or hard. Two different character plots. Than my next fravorite resident evil would REmake. Ah man, I remenber when I encounter the first zombie that ran at me. Almost sh*t my pants lol.
