Final Fantasy best series

i think the best series of final fantasy are :

(1)FF7 of course

(2)FF8

(3)FF10

(4)FF11

well i was kinda disappointed when i knew that the FF13 hero will be that red hair guy.....because it look really gayyyyyyyy just like the rest series of FF that i haven't mentioned.....

if you are going to ask me what is the worst FF is ?

my Answer will be FF x-2 of course because its just for girls...well i just liked the end :D......anyway i hope if SquareEnix going to make FF14 they make the hero more Male like Cloud.

FF 6 was great and so was the US FF 2 (FF4?). I'm also one of the few people who enjoyed FF9. sonicare

The best in my opinion is definitely Final Fantasy 9, second up is 10 third is 8.
FF7.... sucked.. I just couldn't enjoy it with that crap graphic..

Oh and, that red hair is a guy? I thought it was a female.. Either way, red haired guys = AWESOME.
Just watch the advent children movie, there's this red haired bodyguards that looks awesome ( Can't remember the name )
Watch Bleach too, that shinigami looks awesome too.. ( Can't remember his name either. -_- )

The topic title is misleading, by the way. Those aren't series'. Those are games.

I don't play many, but the one that I had fun on was Tactics. The job system was a blast. Also, I liked X. The Blitzball was really addictive.

Final Fantasy X (my fav) did end up while sreaming for moar but a sequal? People say its been downfall after IX but i feel that most people judge X without actually giving it a try. Its been downfall since X-2.

XII looks way too gay if you know what I mean and just not a very appealing game to a FF fan. Changing the combat system was not a smart move imo.

And shame on you for not playing FFVI. That is seriously a great game.

The FF series is heavily overrated. Square's quality work is seen in many other places and should be recognised, especially by Square themselves. IP that don't deserve sequels are getting atrocious amounts of them while IP that deserve and need sequels are just sitting collecting dust on their shelves. Its a shame.foxhound_fox

Amen. Personally I never got the Final Fantasy series, I mean the only thing I found about them is that they are good along the lines of presentation and the fact that Final Fantasy X had a pretty above average battle system, but that's pretty much it. I never understood the hoopla amongst Final Fantasy VI and while I enjoyed Final Fantasy VII it was more so through the story standpoint then the actual game itself. IMO I find the Shin Megami Tensei Series, Fallout 2, Odin Sphere, Deus Ex, and others to be a far better in terms of fun, depth, and an overall RPG expereince then any of the game amongst the Final Fantasy series.
