Same here. For me, that was the system seller. Plus it didn't hurt that the PS2 got a price cut down to $200 at the time.

n64 goldeneye 007 and super mario 64 the 2nd day i owned it i got pilot wings 3 extra controllers turok and wave race 64 that was the most igot first owning a console

ps1 -nfs 3 crash 3 for me my mom had her own console same day with oddworld and spyro

ps2 my mom had it first she had fur fighters and onimusha warlords my first games would be top gear dare devel and agent under fire( didnt want this pile of ugh i got stuck with it ) i was looking every where for a new copy of goldeneye sears walmart toys r us circuit city best buy would have found it if i knew about eb or gamestop lol ,) but none of the ones i checked did not carry it ,

so ya kinda upset i settled for that

so out of all those systems goldeneye remains the best first game ive owned for any console,

That is the same game I got for the system. I kind of don't remember that game much it has been so long.

I'm pretty sure that my first ever ps2 game was DBZ budakia... the first one

Also that nuts Jak & Daxter game...

LotR: The Fellowship of the Ring. You know, the one that sucked.

Thankfully, that was the low point of my PS2 career.
