I got my PS2 on launch day. It was glorious! I had a credit card with no balance...I splurged. I got Madden 2000, Tekken Tag, and Dynasty Warriors 2. It was one of the most fun days of my life...which I guess is sort of sad in the "non-dork world." Anyway, soon after I got Dead or Alive 2 and the shockingly fun Swing Away Golf (which I still play).
When i got my first ps2 i got ATV offroad fury when it came out and my second ps2 i got socom 2. i had sold my old school ps2 and 3 months later i heard MGS3 was coming out so i bought a brand new slim ps2 and got socom 2 just to keep busy until MGS3 was released.
I got both Rachet and Clank first one and Jak and Daxter. Two of the best games I've played to this day. PS3 needs to make a jak game that would be awsome
I was one of the last people on the Playstation 2 bandwagon definitely. I thought I would be fine with my Xbox and my Gamecube, but one game pushed me over the edge...
Resident Evil Outbreak.
I had played all of the other Resident Evil games in the past, and replayed all of the ones available on Gamecube and I couldn't stop thinking about how AWESOME it would be to play those online, with OTHER PEOPLE!
I actually really enjoyed Outbreak, but I appear to be in the minority. Sadly they shut down the servers, but it was the best game I have ever played.
