For those who have played the Hitman series...

I'm interested in the Hitman series and am thinking about buying Blood Money for the 360. If I did that would I be lost in the storyline? I've never played any of the Hitman games before, so should I start the previous games and work my way up or would I be fine just getting Blood Money?
