I played Dizzy on the Atari ST computer system. I loved that game! Mouse Trap was great too!
Also, no one ever mentions Wonder Boy! They even skipped it on both versions (as well as Toe Jam & Earl) of Sega Genesis Collection! Wonder Boy In Monster World was/is my favourite game for the Genesis after Shining Force 1 & 2.
Breath of Fire series (snes-ps1)
Metal Storm (nes)
Joust (nes)
RC Pro Am (nes)
Lost Vikings (snes)
Kirby's dreamcourse (snes)
Secret of Evermore (snes)
Startropics (nes)
Duck Tales (nes)
Dragon Warrior Monsters. Best hours of my life on those cartridges.
Jazz Jackrabbit: Was popular, but largely forgotten at this point. The music especially rocked hard.
Arx Fatalis: The RPG that 2002/3 forgot.
Shadowgate 64: The only adventure game that I know of for the N64. I loved it, even though GS disagreed.
Quest 64: No plot, but I still love its magic system.

Those are all terrific games. However, I've never played Batman, Return of the Joker.
I believe Final Fantasy 7 has been overlooked too often, it was a great game. No, no, in all seriousness, Kirby's Dream Land, the game that Kirby first starred in, isn't mentioned enough. It was short and easy, but the fast paced levels and fun boss battles made it a classic to me.Hikaru_Isamu
Yes, Kirby's Dream Land was probably my favorite Gameboy game as a child. Wish I still had it. Just an awesome game. I really need to find a copy on ebay.
Faxanadujoseph_machO_O You have that game? I loved that game when my NES worked...now I miss it. But anyways...I sorta miss Quest 64, that game was fun IMO...and Witchaven on the PC was sorta good too...it was like Hexen if you ever played that, or Doom with swords. =/
Let's shout out the names of some excellent classic games that time forgot. Who knows, maybe people will start talking about sequels down the road...
Here's some great forgotten no one ever talks about:Clash at Demonhead (NES)
Karnov (NES)
Legendary Wings (NES)
Blaster Master (NES)If you can add any to this list, please do. Hopefully it'll spark some cool memories.
Conjuration
You are officially my unofficial best friend now. Legendary Wings was amazing and still is actually. And when it comes to cIassics I think more people need to remember TMNT 3 for the NES, Soul Blazer for the SNES, and Actraiser also for the SNES. I could play those games for hours and never be bored.
Jurassic Park SNES
Pokemon Silver (its just not remembered anymore...)
hyperkass
I believe Jurassic Park Part 2: The Chaos Continues was better. It was more of a shooter, but at least it gave you a clear objective. It also has an interesting option to choose the order in which you do the levels, which are some of the hardest in my Super Nintendo collection. (Without being rediculously cheap. I'm looking at YOU Mortal Kombat II.) I've owned the game for five years and have still only beaten one level.
