Judging by the name alone, I'm guessing the game is hard (or advertised as such).
Phantasy Star, the Sonic games, the first Alex Kidd (and only the first one), Wonder Boy, etc.Video_Game_KingJust a quick question from this. I already got Sonic 1-3 along with pinball all on the Genesis. So Ima assume that its better on the Genesis then the SMS right and wouldn't be worth buying again. Since I had the chance to golden axe but I already have it for the Genesis and figured it was better on the genesis.

The SMS Sonics are different games altogether. Whether or not they're superior/inferior is up to you.

I would like to warn you however over the quality of Sonic 2 on the Master System. I thought the first one was great. Up there with the first two Sonic games on the Genesis. Sonic 2 on the Master System though is quite horrible in my opinion.[QUOTE="Video_Game_King"][QUOTE="Wula_"] Just a quick question from this. Any other Alex Kidd game

Wonder Boy 3
Time Warriors (I dont remember if thats the name or not but I remember shooting nazi one min and shooting dinosaurs the next)
That's not even a true Alex Kidd game. It's just one of the many re-edited games of that generation.Alex Kidd in High Tech World

The game is originally called Anmitsu Hime and is based on the '80s anime series of the same name.

Wait, was that the crap one with nonlinear adventure levels?
Wait, it was. Damn you Sega. Damn you for ruining the series long before it even went 3D :P!
3D doesn't ruin anything. Give it up with this foolish conception that only 2D is worthy.Wait, was that the crap one with nonlinear adventure levels?

And they never ruined the Alex Kidd series. They just never made any more games.

You seem to have ignored the Sega part. I was referencing Sonic's jump to 3D. And I've never held the notion that 2D is better. At least I don't think I've ever held that. The reason I play so many old, 2D games is because I can complete them faster and blog about them more often. Besides, I don't have time for more modern games, if you're gonna get at that. And yea, they ruined it. The sequel played like a mediocre version of Wonder Boy, and why did the next one have adventuring elements? You don't play Alex Kidd for adventure, you play it....well, you play it because your parents never got you Mario as a kid, and this was the closest you could get :P. The point is that High Tech World ignored what makes Alex Kidd good.
(I'm ignoring the BMX game for the hell of it :P.)

Yeah I guess that's why Sonic Adventure got AAA ratings on every important gaming site on it's release. :|And those kids were fortunate. At least they never got bored to sleep by playing Mario games.

I remember reading an article calling Sonic Adventure overrated. It compared the scores then and now (DX Director's Cut), stating that almost nothing changed. I would have posted the article if I knew where the hell it was.
I wasn't bored to sleep playing Mario. Some of my earliest memories are with Mario. Besides, we all knew that kid whose parents bought the "other system". The unpopular one, the one that didn't have that many games little kids wanted to play. (I wasn't one of those kids, fortunately :P).

Yeah, you gotta love how many people love to call everythingoverrated nowadays. It probably makes them feel very cunning. But the fact of the matter is that everybody loved Sonic Adventure when it released. And the ratings are there to prove it.
And I know what you mean. They called them Nintendo systems over here. Hardly anybody wanted them. I really can't blame them though.

Not everything is overrated. Ninja Gaiden is pretty good, and the new Prince of Persia got correct scores (if, sometimes, for the wrong reasons.)
............Can't think of anything :P. I know I have something, but I'm not sure how to phrase it.
Wait, crap, forgot you were European. Over here (USA, if it wasn't obvious by now), those "other systems" were usually the Sega Master System, 3DO, Dreamcast, Gamecube (oddly popular where I lived). And Nintendo had some pretty good games for their systems, like:
Final Fantasy
DuckTales
Faria
Super Mario Bros. 3
The first few Mega Man games
Battletoads
I could go on and on...
