i was reading about a game with unlimited levels (it obviously gets updated somehow) but i forget what it is....can you tell me what it is please??

I don't konw, but didn't the original pac-man arcade have unlimited levels? I thought I remember somone telling me that the levels would start getting wierd and screwy after the hundrenth one.

i think you mean Guild Wars 2. it's an MMORPG and the makers are deciding whether or not to have unlimited levels.

It's called every-game-before-1985! Seriously, games didn't used to have an ending. They would just keep getting harder and harder to point of impossibility, where the goal was to get the highest score, not beat it.

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness has virtually unlimited levels in terms of areas of gameplay due to the Item Worlds in the game. It also have a level cap of 9999 which, while not unlimited, is a very high limit.

You could try this simple game from armorgames.com. It's called The Last Stand. I don't know if it has unlimited levels, but I think it goes on.

I trhought I saw on g4 some guy beat pac-man in the arcade...but anyways it was probably an mmorpg

Dark Cloud for the PS2 felt like forever. After you spentthe 50+ hours to beat themain story, you're treated to 100 additional levels.

I remember a strange, old stoner friend of mine who would always talk about something's Call. He said it was an online game that was constantly being updated with new content. I'm pretty sure there's a monthly fee.
