Games for which you had high hopes but got disappointed.....

Forza 3 and 4 (I havent played many new games this gen), I find the games boringly easy. Oh wait, maybe Dirt3 as well, that game was horrible to play after my many hours on DiRT2.

Max Payne 3. A trip to the dentist is more fun.

Dishonored. There are several big problems I have with the game. Ridiculously stupid AI is one of them.

EDIT: Mark of the Ninja is another recent one, though not to the same degree. The AI in that game got me irritated as well. How hard is it for developers to program their NPCs to notice simple occurences like doors being left open!? :P

GTA 4... Found it quite boring after a while.hrt_rulz01

I think I'll have to go with Sly 2. The first game was a really good 3D platformer and I heard the second was better. I really don't understand how anybody could say that. The game's design took an awful hit and the two new playable characters (bently and Murray) are absolutely terrible. They really need to stick to sly's platforming and cut out all the poorly designed secondary characters and minigames. Sly 2 was easily the worst in the series.

GT5, ok the expectations and rumour mills were astronomically high and it was never goin to live up to them all but PD not commentin on the game at all only added to it all and then it finally dropped..... ps2 level cars for almost all ofhte cars in the game, long load times, tearing, awful graphics on all but a couple tracks, and a whole host of other problems.

After 5 yrs of development and $60m i couldnt believe how disappointing the game was, ok PD have tried to fix alot of the problems since release but it doesnt change the fact it was prob one of this gens biggest disappointments on release and even now most of the cars are STILL ps2 level....:lol:

Castlevania Lords of Shadow - Was just a meh HnS game with horrid pacing.

Resident Evil 6 - Really disappointed me. DmC will probably follow it when it comes out.

Silent Hill Downpour - Wasn't bad but...I couldn't get into it.

Mario & Luigi: Bowser inside story - Just can't get into it either. :/ I gotta go back and try to finish it.

L.A. Noire. The game was murdered.

There's a reason why I try not to get my hopes up for certain games.
