Games Left Unfinished, or Even Unplayed

I knew there were a few games in my collection that I hadn't finished yet. Today I decided to actually go through my list of games and make a separate list of those games which I haven't finished. I think it turned out to be a longer list than I had anticipated. After writing my list out, I realized, not only have I not finished these games, but there are several on the list that I never even started playing. The list crosses every possible platform or genre boundary. My list also covers games from the absolutely horrible to the AAA gems of a given platform.

Now, before I unveil my list I want to say, when I say "finish" I mean in whatever possible way a particular game could be 'finished.' That could mean, solving every puzzle of a puzzle game, or finishing the main quest of a non-linear RPG, or whatever the case may be. Yeah I haven't finished Morrowind either cause Oblivion came out.

I have a few games that I haven`t even played yet and it`s because I just can`t keep up much interest in most modern games. I find that most of them are way to long to play through or I just get the feel I need to replay some of my older games again. I`m just finding that the variety of gamesnow a days is just to thin. For me I`ve never going to stop playing 2D games, new or old and I find little intrest in most 3D action and adventure games.

Anyway. I have alot of games that I`ve only cleared once, halfway through or not at all. Here`s some examples. Okami, Zelda Twilight Princess, Riddik Escape From Butcher Bay, Paper Mario 2, SSX on Tour, Gran Turismo 4, Ninja Gaiden andTales of Symphonia. Sad thing is that I like all these games.

My list isn't too long....I try to make it a point to finish the games I buy....still, there are a few I bought that I either never got around to playing or never finished.

Most of them I gave decided to give a try but they just weren't for me or they bored me before I got to the end.

Other then The Warriors and Lord of Destrustion, I gave away or traded away every single game on this list. I actually plan on playing and completing both of those.

If there is any one game I regret trading away, it's Eternal Darkness, that's one game I never even got around to. That's probably the only game I've actually had in my possesion that I actually really regret not getting around to or finishing.

Well I have a few that I've never played that I own: Prince of Persia, Ratchet and Clank, Rogue Galaxy, Shadow Hearts FtNW. I've also started and never beat metroid prime 1 or 2.

My best friend is 100x worse than me, though, he owns about 5x as many games as I do, and I don't think he's hardly beat any of them. He plays them for a few minutes to make sure they work and then puts them in this bigass disk holder.

I've played every FF since FF6 and I've only beaten 10 and 12. Always got REALLY close to finishing, but I never did haha.DarKre

Yeah the thing I hate about most ff games is the fact that the last boss is always about 300x harder than even the next-to-last boss.

i dont even finish good games. i got up to the last level of twilight princess and decided to look for those left over heart fragments got bored and never picked it up again. this is after playing it for 40+ hours nonstop. i burn out before the finish line. it happens all the time.ems921

yeah i have the same problem, i always play agame alot and get near the end and then think i dnt want to finish this game so i slow down and eventually i dnt finish it and get bored with it. i hate whne that happens.

Hmm... I'll try to limit this to notable games I can remember right now. Note that I'm not including games I'm currently playing.
