Original Alien vs Predator, F.E.A.R., and S.T.A.L.K.E.R scared me. FEAR and STALKER had more of the cheap jump out of no where and make me piss my pants scares. AVP made me generally fear for my life when my heart sensor was going off the chart and I only have 30 bullets. I normally don't play scary games, except for zombie games so these are the only ones I've played.

Dino Crisis had a lot of unexpected jumpy scenes for me. So did Alien: Resurrection. I love playing those games in the dark though.

Fatal Frame II, when you meet that girl who is identical to what's-her-face from the Ring. She spends most of the fight kind of bent over and her long hair covering her face, walking towards you slowly. Then without warning during the fight, she rears up, revealing her face which looks pissed by the way, and charges straight at you. That freaked the **** out of me the first time I played it. Silent Hill 2, there were some great moments, but one stood out to me. When you are in the apartment building, you're walking down this hallway when you hear a weird noise, you head in the direction of it down a long hallway perpendicular to the when you were just in. As you continue down the hallway, the radio blares static, growing more intense as you go on. At the end, you see Pyramid Head, with a red light cast over him. He doesn't do anything, he just stands there looking at you. Menacing is an understatement.
