warcraft 3 triggered anger? or saddness? but I agree with you on the other 2 as well :)warcraft 3 triggered some emotion for me, but the most recent heart string pulling game for me is infamous, followed by HL2 episode 2 and GTA 4

The idea behind that game looked really cool, but I didn't know how it was to play.[QUOTE="muthsera666"]
[QUOTE="Blubadox"]There is a game called "The Experiment" which may trigger some emotions.Blubadox
The CCTV camera (you) guides the main character, you have to help her solve puzzles, hack terminals and stuff. I suggest you look for the walk-through to get some general tips on how to play it.
I meant how it played, not how to play it.[QUOTE="Blubadox"][QUOTE="muthsera666"] The idea behind that game looked really cool, but I didn't know how it was to play.muthsera666

I meant how it played, not how to play it.Sorry I misunderstood, if you've played the game you'll know how it plays. The game builds a special connection between you and the main character as you get deeper into the story, you become her savior.
Since I'm having trouble with the spoiler tag for no apparently good reason, I'll just try to list them without giving away any spoilers:
Half-Life 2: Episode 2 at the end affected me pretty deeply, almost to tears.
One particular moment in Saints Row 2 in the Brotherhood mission chain literally did make me cry.
The final cinematic in Tales of the Abyss (after the credits) got to me as well, particularly Jade's expression. That entire game was just amazing to me.
Lastly, I used to think that the very end of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was pretty epic and saddening. Now I really wish that I had never played Modern Warfare 2.
In general, any game that allows me to have any sort of emotional connections with its characters, RPG's in particular, will affect me pretty strongly. These are the most prominent instances I can think of at the moment.

I'm going to name a few games. Spoliers for all these games, so be aware!
Heavy Rain - Pretty much the whole game. But in particular the cutting off of the finger scene was, one of the best made scenes in gaming history, just the intuitive way the game controls in parts like that, and the preparation, the countdown, the music, the screaming. Oh man, I was in shock, really. I did it first with the big butcher knife and then closed the wound with the burning metal rod. But try doing it with scissors and the alcohol and try to watch the whole thing without feeling awful, or looking away. That's when I realized this game was really special. There were some other great scenes, most involving Ethan, how if you completed the trials, and he is walking down that long red hallway, pretty much limping, and almost dead..it's great. The ending twist of course got me too.
Lost Odyssey - Still playing this one, but just some of kaims memories in the form of written stories are very very well written and emotional
Killer 7 - Near the end when all your characters die, and then you relive the memories of killing them, and then the final twist. Oh man..I was like blown away.
MGS 3/4 - 3 with The Boss' revelation at the end and the emotion of killing her, In 4 a few parts, the epic climax where Liquid gets control of all the weapons and seamingly kills everyone there, crawling through that microwave was really really emotional, then when I thought snake killed himself, the closest I ever came to feeling bad for a video game character I think. (of course he didn't but I thought he did for a while..)
FFX's ending always gets me. I think it's the only game that's ever made me shed tears.gameguy6700Same, although a few games have made me shed tears.
Definitely Persona 3 fes and 4. In 4 I started shedding tears right at the very end with the picture being shown if you get the True Ending.Pvt_r3d
Oh god i agree with you 100%. Finished Persona 3 and after seeing the beginning to FES that made me quite sad (i still have to finish it however :().
Also the ending to FFX-2 (yes X-2) made me feel happy if you got the perfect ending.
