Games that you liked but your friends hated or you were ashamed to admit to it

Every one out there has played a game they liked and it seemed every one else hated, and every one has played a game that they were ashamed to admit to, and every one has played a game that no matter what anyone says , you'll defend it no matter what!

Games I liked and it seemed every one else hated, Flash back the quest for identity,and Out of this world, I remember my older brother saying I was such a loser for playing those games, and he would say role playing games are for nerds?

The main game I was ashamed of playing and people finding out was Pokemon Crystal, when I bought it I told the girl that it was for my little brother and i'm the youngest of 3 boys! I will now admit that I played it and liked it!

Games that I will defend that I just love are Super Metroid, The Elder Scrolls 3 Morrowind, Star Wars Knights of the old Republic, and Mortal Kombat 1, 2, and 3!

Anyone else?

Hmmmm, Fifa06 for gc. My friend hated it but I loved it. Its awesome!

There was a game that I created, coded, and played for almost 8 years called Legends of the Darkstone. It was a text-based MUD(Multi-User Dungeon) and a lot of people said I was completely stupid for playing an rpg that is nothing but a bunch of text.

Games that I am ashamed of playing/owning are the Pokemon games that came out on the N64. I had originally bought them for my nephews and when they got good at them, I decided to play to give them a challenge and I grew to like them, but I wouldnt' admit to anyone that I ever played them...other then now.

Game I would defend to the death of me would have to be a MUD called Forgotten Kingdoms. No matter what anyone says about text based games, and how lame they are....that is probably the #1 best thought out and designed MUD I have ever encountered in my numerous years of mudding.

pokemon hands down i just finally put that game down, took me until the last game to come out before diamond and pearl, i think that was emerald im not sure. but im not ashamed anymore cuz that is a hella fun game
