Games you hope they never make a movie of...

So basically Hollywood always tends to F*** up our beloved video games with the absolute worst movie adaptation possible (albeit sometimes it's hard to make a movie of a game i.e super mario bros). So I started thinking of games that I hope they NEVER EVER EVER EVER make a movie of. Personally I hope they never make a movie of God of War, Metal Gear Solid (barely dodged the bullet on this one), Assassins Creed, or Zelda.

there is an Assassins Creed movie that was made in conjunction with the game its low budget and terrible though , i honestly hope they never make a bioshock moviebuft

They were working on a Deus Ex movie some time ago, I was relieved when I learned the project was canned.

I'm hoping they never make a movie based on Dead Rising. Mind you the original Dead Rising was basically a rip-off of Dawn of the Dead, but still...

And call me crazy, but I think I want to see a Gears of War movie. If they could do a movie to clear up the backstory of the Pendulum Wars and expand on the events after E-Day, it could be pretty good. And they would have to include characters from the graphic novels and the books. I'm reading Aspho Fields right now and the story between Dom Marcus and Carlos could work in a movie

If they mske a movie out of metal gear solid it will ruin it for me. That games plot is so complex and has so much depth that a movie could not capture what the game could unless it was longer than 15 hours and still they would probably mess something up about it.

there is metal gear solid philanthropy movie, its not all that bad, it really captures the whole solid snake thing.

Also, film companies are unfaithful to the original game. I mean, if you incorporated the creative team from the original game and basically replicated the game's story for the silver screen, it'd be great. And if you think that's a redundant exercise in futility, consider all the comic books and books made into movies.

I never want to see a Warcraft Movie. Having never played the Prince of Persia games, the movie (assuming it will be released) is the part between Sands of Time and some other future part. I forget.

- Little Big Planet staring Dannie Devito as Sackboy

- Call Of Duty Modern Warfare

- The World Ends With You staring Ronald Weasley as Neku

Resident Evil is a perfect example of this. Hollywood gave Paul W.S. Anderson free reign over the franchise and he bastardized it royally. He completely changed the storyline and just ruined it!!! I wish a good, respectable director would take over Resident Evil and do it the way it should have been done to begin with...Using the storyline from the second game as it's main focus, with the mansion bit thrown in for some back-story.

Technically there already have been sonic movie(s) and I thought it (they? Im not sure if theres others than the one I've seen) was pretty awesome.

Devil May Cry, I hate that game series anyway and the lead character is so ******* corney it's unbelievable, the thing that I find most stupid is that they are serious about him too, you really thing that's cool? If they made a movie of it my face will cringe so hard it will cave in on itself, and that's just from looking at the cover art.

Actually I want them to make a movie of it, because i want it to fail hard and turn that franchise into the laughing stock it deserves to be.

Evidently there are production companies looking for directors for Warcraft and Halo. If they get a big enough name with a big enough budget, I think they could be pulled off.

Now I never want to see a Fable movie. It's not really big enough for the old producers that have big titles under their belt to do it justice.

Half-Life and Quake.

Granted a movie based on Quake would be rather neat if don't properly but the odds of that are very slim as the only Good Movies that are based on games that I've seen are the two Tomb Raider movies and Silent Hill. The rest has either been decent or aweful.

Really? I thought that a God Of War movie would be awesome. Just 300, only with Kratos killing everybody. :P
