Games you've played for the most amount of time?

I was wondering which games people have been able to put countless hours into (but please, do count them for the sake of the thread).

For me I'd have to say:

• ES: Oblivion GOTY (60 hours, I need more, everyone I know has at least 100)
• Madden 10 (played at least 1 game online a night for 2 months straight so it was quite a bit of time)
• Demon's Souls (40 hours in 1st playthrough)
• In the 20 to 25 hour section is ME2 (wish it was longer, hoping ME3 is since I did all except 3 or 4 of the planet side missions and did all the other missions), AC2, soon to be AC:B, Borderlands GOTY is climbing past there

Hmm, looking at this I wonder what other things I could have done with this time, and where did I get the time do all this? Regardless, it's time well spent, especially Oblivion, gotta love the world of that game.

ES Oblivion-At least 35 hours maybe more. Great game.

Pokemon- I'd say 10 is the max. Maybe more, I used to constantly play it though.

GTA 4 I'd say, took about 150 hours before I finished it.

I love exploring open world games to their fullest. I'll travel as far as I can in each direction and attempt to find practically everything. In the case of Oblivion and Fallout, the side quests are more interesting than the main storyline.

Oblvion's story (main missions) is rather short so the side quests are the main draw to the game, and they're really good for the most part, especially going through the different Oblivion gates. I only have around 10 hours in fallout 3 and GTA IV, I just couldn't get into them like I thought I would.

120+ hours into Fallout 3, 70+ hours into Fallout NV but that's just with one faction and without DLC.
Managed to play around 60 hours of CoD: Black Ops though I'm pretty much done with that game now. Games in the 50 hour range include Borderlands, FIFA 10/11, Halo 3/Reach and GTA IV.

I've put hundreds of hours into Diablo 2, Civilization 3, and the Pokemon games.

2007-present:

Co-op/LAN
Borderlands + DLC (1,400 hrs)

Single-Player
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines (350 hrs)

Probably FFIX messing around on Chocobos.

But I did play MGS3 over and over and over again. About 20 times rinse and repeat.

Tiger Woods Golf...over the course of all the years, I've probably logged about 1500 hours on that game.

Rogue Spear, Ghost Recon, Flight Simulator, Railworks, Silent Hunter III and Silent Hunter IV would be the games I have spent the most time playing with iL2 bringing up the rear I guess.

Tetris, many different incarnations since its release on the original Gameboy, the latest being Tetris DX on GBC. I've probably poured hundreds and hundreds of hours into that game, if not thousands.

1.6 and source combined probably over 2000hours

WoW probably over 1000hours

DIablo 2 over 1000

CoD universe quite a few

The three i definitely put the most hours into are

1) Wow - not sure exactly but about 2000 hours

2)FF13 - around 120

3) Demons Souls - around 130

2001- present: Age of Empires 2. I've probably put in more than 1,000 hrs on that thing:oops:. It's still addictive today.

Advance wars Days of Ruin: more than 100.

Diablo II (and its not even a competition)

I honestly don't know if I would smile or cry if I saw the number of hours I have played that game. I have no way of knowing how much time that is, but its a TON.

Well I have something like 200+ cumulative days of WoW game time since launch. I haven't played for a year either, & had various breaks. But it was more a lifestyle than a game back in its prime for me. No regrets though.

Pokemon Sappire. Numerous playthroughs over the 100 hour mark. Zelda: The Windwaker I put about 300 hours into that game across all playthroughs. Fallout 3 took over my life after I purchased it. Probably put about 200 hours into that game. Resident Evil 4, I don't even know anymore, I had about 30 different playthroughs in that game and mercenary mode I played like a sport as well.

Fallout 3/Fallout New Vegas/Oblivion

Battlefield Bad Company 2: not quite sure but around something 70 hours or so

Team Fortress 2: 44 hours

Half life 2: 50 hours

Mass effect:69 hours (3 playthroughs)

Mass effect 2: 81 hours (2 playthroughs + the beginning of a playthrough)

There might be a few other games on which I have quite some hours, but I really wouldn't know how many. And it's probably a bit less, since I sometimes accidentally leave a game on for an hour or so without actually playing

Fallout 3, Dragon Age: Origins, Persona 4, and Pokemon games. All 100+ hours easily.

I put hundreds of hours into Final Fantasy 6 and 7.

World of Warcraft probably dwarfs that though :?

Yup! I took out my Mint condition Dreamcast and played Skies of Arcadia, since I buy alot of dreamcast games in the past I never get around to play them that much since I was busy working, and now I took the time to play skies of arcadia for the first time, I spend over 5 hours each day playing it! I wish there would be sequeal of skies of arcadia game!

Oblivion for 150+ and I had about 120+ days of WoW time back when i played. Sad s***.

Guild wars by far. We're talking over 3000 hours. Granted I've been playing since 2005.

Fallout New Vegas. 150+ hours and still not finished. I'm not going to the finale until I've examined every nook and cranny on the map.

But how do some of you guys put 1000+ hours into one game alone? If you spread that out I can understand, but I don't think I'll ever be able to play one game for that long.

Guild Wars 6,146 hours and 15 minutes.

Single player has to be Oblivion with well over 100 hours.

Pokemon Pearl, easily. With all the online battling and stuff I ended up maxing the clock.

Everquest, I'm installing it again at the moment. I need something to play until a new batch of decent games comes out. That games been going for like 14 years now, it's still the best MMO and I enjoy running about solo on it, slowly grinding myself to something more and more powerful while chatting about random crap on the general channels.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl ~ 500 hours of competitive play, at least 100 hours on Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4, 70 hours on Fallout 3.

Tekken 5/6, I can play those two for hours.

Monster Hunter Tri, I played it for 300 hours

My combined total of my Championship/Football Manager saves from 2003/4 to 2011 is over 7000 hours... the highest being FM2008 with 1400
