Poll Gaming in a zombie apocalypse. (12 votes)
Can it be done?
I thought a theory, no power, right?
Thats why, without power you at least try to amass MOUNTAINS of batteries for all different systems.
Make sure you have a plethora of games for older portable game systems, like the Gameboy, Atari Lynx, Sega GameGear, and pretty much buy every battery-powered portable console you can think of, this is assuming you've done all this BEFORE the apocalypse has begun.
If you plan on building/going to a fortress with other survivors, whether they be friends, family, or strangers, best to buy link cables and such beforehand, but if not, it's find.
When I say mountains, I'd say enough to sustain every single portable console you have for at least 10-20 years.
This will cost a lot, but will pay off in the end.
A more expensive way will have you buying things like PSP batteries, and an even more expensive way, if you're tech-savvy and have tools, is replacing batteries in things like the Nintendo Switch, PS Vita, etc.
An even more expensive way, if you wanna enjoy all your PC games, get a massive collection of PC batteries.
One place I feel would be an ideal place to live if you live in a zombie apocalypse, is the home of the Angry Video Game Nerd, but that wouldn't be an option unless A. You know him, or B. He's one of the dead.
I know this is probably one of the stranger posts made, but its just advice I thought of that could be handy if something like this ever happens, which it won't.
Would probably be best if you had a sealed-off basement as well, a place where you could play without alerting the zombies to your presence.
