I know this may sound sort of like a stupid question but what does GCN stand for exactly? PS = Play Station, N64 = Nintendo 64, SNES = Super Nintendo Entertainment System, but GCN? Game Cube Nintendo? doesnt sound right to me.

GCN does stand for Game Cube Nintendo. Seems there were copyright problems with some company so they couldn't use NGC.

GCN does stand for Game Cube Nintendo. Seems there were copyright problems with some company so they couldn't use NGC. I think it's because "GCN" rolls off the tounge a little more easily that "NGC". "GC" is used the most, though.
As for the topic, always get the Gamecube versions if you want the most fluid controls, or the Xbox if you care more about graphics. Personally, I find the Gamecube controls to be the best.

Personally, I feel that the Xbox controls are better, but that's a matter of preference.
