Gex dead?

Well i guess it's pretty obvious but I have to ask anyway, is Gex the Gecko dead? It's been a while and Crystal Dynamics... Well, they haven't even been heard from at all... About ANYTHING. Is any developer or publisher going to pick it up or leave it lying in the gutter?

That gex team doesn't really exist anymore (the Soul Reaver team even), a lot of the people who worked on gex at Crystal Dynamics went over to Naughty Dog pre-Jak, people like Evan Wells who is now the co-President of Naughty Dog.

BTW Anyone remember that ex-Baywatch chick that was in Gex 3, Marliece Andrada?♥ ♥ ♥

Gex, The Jersey Devil, Tomba, Crash, Spyro, Ape Escape, there's another franchise I can't remember now but, all of them have died along with the PS1. However, Crash and Spyro are still on life support and I think Ape Escape is in a coma but, I doubt any of those franchises will return.Superdude475

Tomba and Ape Escape were fantastic on PS1, I miss those games. Maybe the other game you don't remember is Johnny Bazookatone.

heh heh. Sounds about right. Crystal Dynamics is working on Tomb Raider these days, maybe Gex can get a cameo.

A new gex game is one of my game wishes. He is so cool. Bad he hasn't returned. Stucked in PS1, and people will forget him.
