no beacuse Half life 2 Ep 2 Ep 1 and Portal are the best parts of the game and TF2 is not really needed
if you havn't already bought the longest journey, don't. i thought i'd break my usual rts/tbs habit and opt for something refreshingly different, but ended up wishing i hadn't. it's not a game you can use logic or intuition to solve each puzzle, the only way you can complete this game is by referring to a walkthrough. when i had to lower a washing line into a river and throw bread at a seagull, to get an inflatable duck, to remove the sticky plaster that covered a puncture, to tighten the pliers with, to get the key off the railway track, i gave up. it's totally obscure and relies on you having a telepathic link to the game developers to find your way through these puzzels.
in three words: disapointing, confusing, frustrating
im familiar with you first choice but i bought assassins creed and the ending Stinks bigh tim and has no replay valueCoolGuy6654
well I've played Assassin's Creed and it's awesome, but I'm not so sure about Eternal Sonata. I wanna try it, but I don't wanna be disappointed, and have wound up wasting money (can't find it for rent anywhere near me :?)

Download the demo and check it out.So I'm getting some new games with money from Christmas, and I wanted some people's advice of what games I should get. I have enough money for 2. I'm thinking of getting two of these:
Beautiful Katamari
Turok
LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga
Skate.
Which two should I get? I'm open to other suggestions, too.
Oh, and also I'm not a big fan of war games unless they're Tom Clancy and I've never played Call of Duty but I keep hearing that it's like, the best game ever. Is that game worth it? And is No More Heroes worth buying?

In Order of Priority
1. No More Heroes, there isn't a another game out quite like it and I mean that in a good way, I've only seen someone playing it and thus don't have hands-on experience. If you like games like Shenmue, Killer 7, or Yakuza then this will be your new classic.
2. COD4, its a bit like Rainbow Six Vegas, but don't expect an old school Tom Clancy level of strategy as their isn't even a cover system
3.Skate- If you like skateboarding then skate is the ultimate sim you can find or that has ever been made, don't expect a Tony Hawk level of ease, but like No More Heroes Skate offers a unique experience
4. Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, I've always admired the level design of these games, and I am a huge Stars Wars nerd...However, I just found all of the games in the series entirely too easy and almost as if they were designed solely for 6 year olds.
5. Beautiful Katamari- If you've never played a Katamari game than by all means get this game, however if you have then it is simply not worth playing virtually the same game over again...Skip it!

This man speaks the truth!
I'm thinking about buying WiC, The orange box or CoD4. Which is the best (MP, SP, replay value etc)?
I played the CoD4 demo and wasn't very impressed. Should i buy it anyway since it's supposed to be so good?
I played the WiC demo and loved it! Very good MP.
Haven't played The orange box but it's five games in one and Portal and TF2 looks fun.
And just so you know. I don't like strategy games more than fps games and vice versa.
Rock Band or Guitar Hero 3?nicknicknick333
If you like casual fun and have lots of friends, Rock Band
If you're super competitive, Guitar Hero
Also, don't expect to have much fun playing online Guitar Hero III unless you're one of the best players. Rock Band's multiplayer, however, is always fun.
And I guess it also depends on which soundtrack you like more, including the downloadable content.
Should I get The club(360) or Condemned 2 (360)Xaphan3
None of us have played those games, so we can't recommend one.
In the meantime, why don't you play a game that's currently available?
...Ok Thanks. Even though everyone else is asking about games that havn't come out yet. Anyway can I get a real answer? I Loved the story to Condemned 1 and want to play the sequel, but The Club is something new and really fun. I loved the demo. Xaphan3
Hey guys what should i get COD 4 or Risistance: Fall of man,(PS3)jstrain11
Should I get COD 4 or Assassins Creed.

[QUOTE="jasopan"]Whats a RPG or even rts thats set in medieval times and has a decent rating?
thanks
HiResDes
you have to be more specific, as there are many, what platforms and which do you already own or have played.
for PC, one thats just fun and can casually play, like an rpg of stronghold 2, not oblivion or fable since ive tried them
thanks

Neverwinter Nights 2, Guild Wars, The Witcher, Medieval II: Total War or umm thats all I can think of recently.
Try Viva Pinata or the new Naruto game Rise of a ninja.tequilero
Viva Pinata actually requires a lot more strategy and thought than was advertised....7 is pretty young so i'd say Spiderman Friend or Foe, maybe Eternal Sonata if they were a little bit older, Beautiful Katamari, oh and any of the Lego Star Wars games.

I second the vote for Lego Star Wars. My best friend's kid loves the crap out of Lego Star Wars.
[QUOTE="D3s7rUc71oN"]*ahem* tough question :P Which game should I get first? The Darkness or Tomb Raider Anniversary X360 version? I've already played Tom Raider Legend about a year ago, which should I buy first? dvader654
I've only played the Darkness, if you like an atmospheric story driven FPS darkness could be interesting to you. Its different but overall just good. (7 range game). TRA, I really want to play it, definetely more my style of game, thats what I would go for.
I've only tried TRA. It was a huge disappointment for me because I liked the original. But if you were new to the series go ahead and try it... you might like it but it's not as deep as prince of persia in terms of game-play since it borrows almost everything from it.
Whats a RPG or even rts thats set in medieval times and has a decent rating?
Not sure if it is quite medieval, but Final Fantasy Revenant Wings is an awesome RTS. This is my 1st RTS game, and I have been enjoying it immensely. As for the RPGs, I would recommend Lunar Knights, which is set in medieval times. Lunar Knights has pretty good graphics and has just about the right difficulty level. Please Log In to post.
