Welcome back! I haven't seen you here in forever.Hey guys my name's Des and I like video games a lot. I especially like playing them, although sometimes its cool to specate if its something like Street Fighter IV. In my spare time I play video games, and even at work I like to play games as well, just don't tell my boss. Pretty much my favorite activity involves my hand on the stick. There's nothing that makes me happier. And it makes me even happier to find others that enjoy the same type of thing. When I get bored with my own, I like to try out other sticks as well. Some stick are better for certain things. It's good to try out a variety of them.

Do sticks in your hand go hand in hand? ;)
Welcome to the lounge. :)Hello everyone.... I think it's the first time I venture here, but only because I like beer. :| and games of course.

Oh man this is great, all my old dawgs are now mods.
HiResDes- It's always nice to see a fellow gamespotter live close to me. So what do you do? Do you work or go to school?
I graduated from Xavier University last spring, and now I'm basically just sitting on my, as I can't seem to find any work writing (I'm an English major). I'm about to just work at this thrift store soon making mininum wage if I can't find anything. I also do standup comedy on the side, come check me out soon at Go Bananas.

That sucks that you can't find a job. What kind of writing? You mean like newspapers? Have you tried other cities or possibly other states for a job and the possibility of moving? I've never heard of Go Bananas. I'll have to check that out sometime.

I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you. If this is anything like the similar promises the GameSpot editors occasionally make on their podcast, this whole thing is likely a ruse. And besides: Rag spends far too much money for there to be anything left for us.
I have no memory of this $500 promise... Hrm. I need to drink less. Today has been a phenomenally lazy day. The most important thing I did was put some pants on and go find an axe in our garage so that my best friend could borrow it. He was off to hunt down a Christmas tree in the woods with his family and was lacking the proper equipment.:PrragnaarAll I did was shovel the driveway (first time this year). I nearly died, its alarming how out of shape I am. I need to do something about...soon.

I can't ride my bike to work right now, and that was sort of what I counted on for staying in shape because it was so easy to work into my schedule.

I gotta play through the single player on that one still. I have so many freaking games to play. Then I also have the PS1 games. And then there is more. I want to stay away from multiplayer for a while but BC2 calls me :)

Yea, I understand. I have 6 brand new games within the last month but for some reason, I'm not playing them. We gotta play Dirt 2 sometime online once my copy arrives.

Well I have to prove that it's "medically necessary" and not just for cosmetic purposes. Apparently the information the doctor has sent them isn't enough to convince them to cover it, and let me say this, if the insurance isn't paying for it I won't be getting it...way to expensive.

Yeah I'll just intentionally do poorly on the pulmonary test or w/e it is and hope the insurance falls for it. And the surgery isn't considered dangerous its on my chest and its fixing the growth of some ribs. It is a bit of a hassle though mainly having to stay in the hospital for a few days afterwards etc. Still it will be worth it afterwards, better stamina, better looking chest.
I've had the Lord of the Rings trilogy for months and still havent watched one (on blu). I think tonight is a perfect night, snow storm set the mood just right. F1Lengend
I wish I was there watching it with you. :P jk I really love the LotR triology and cannot wait for The Hobbit to come out.

Hope things goes well for you. It was just kinda weird how you said it. I've never heard of anyone trying to intentionally fail a medical test.
