My apologies if this question is making you repeat yourself? But what exactly were you originally griping about that raised the arguement on the comments section? I'm assuming it had something to do with shooters, and you're distaste for them (as an increasingly derivative genre more bent on creating massive profit than actually implementing new game mechanics, I agree).

I was stating an opinion but people were treating it as I was trying to make it a low or something to that degree.Vexx88

Fair enough, context is difficult to determine in a text based way of communication like on here anyways. And besides, I wouldn't judge somebody's character based on what they say on a GOTY comments page anyways ;)

I've come to this realization - Developers know how to write code for a game, but they have forgotten how to game.:lol:

It's patently obvious when you run a side-quest in a RPG, and you get zero XPs upon completion.:lol:

Final Fantasy VIII does this. Beat the big ugly boss and get - nothing. Not a single solitary XP.

The thing is, it only has to be a little easier, not a lot. Don't give the very hard end boss half a dozen forms to slog through, and if you do let us start our game at the most recent one when we are inevitably pounded into pudding.

Well I just saw the Gameoverthinker and well heck this goes into a deeper meaning.

Note today I didnt see this episode. He doesnt like FPS games that much I at least play them from time to time.

Hey Chili... is there anyone here locally that is good to deal with when it comes to computers? I'm considering spending some money on a good PC while I've got some extra cash. I've got 4GBs of RAM and an 8800GT just laying around here somewhere, assuming I didn't lose it when I moved. I realize that card isn't great, but it would be an ok start and I could upgrade later. I wouldn't mind buying parts if I knew what to buy, but I really don't think I'm capable enough to build it.rragnaar

lol I got more of where that came from. :P I'm disappointed that all the snow melted away here. Its not like we had much but it was nice to see it out the window. :(

My roommate is an aspiring comic book artist. It is from a comic he drew.

He is getting better all the time. He recently did a residency under Paul Pope, the guy who did Batman Year 100 and a bunch of crazy stuff.

He's off to New York for some comic related something tomorrow, I can't keep track any more.:P
