So, I beat CoD3 on my xbox. Other than a few glitches where my character flew out from behind cover, and a problem with throwing grenades back, (Why would you wait THAT long to chuck the dang grenade? If I picked up a live grenade I'd get rid of it the very second I picked it up!) it was a good game.

I feel for you doing that one by one and then having to scroll down on the left side of each profile to find the remove a friend option for 140 people! Funny and true at the same time---I know people that were dead set on twitter and facebook saying they would never, ever join them. They have now and I have since deleted mine...lol
Argh, this is why I dislike staying over at friends houses. My friend decided to go to sleep at f****** 10:45...I guess everyone isn't as much of late night person as me, but now I'm stuck bored with just my itouch. Exotic dance for me:P

That it is! Though I wish I had a long weekend to look forward to. As do I....one day off and then back to work. What fun. I try and stay off my PC on the weekends but sometimes---like now--- I work in some capacity whether it be an hour or more just so Mondays are not a pain in the ass of a day to come back to.

Well I don't like high heat and humidity so I passed on a beach trip today. Instead, I worked a bit and have been searching for a place to move into for October 1st. **** is making me sleepy.

They live in the City? They are usually close to 10 degrees hotter than us since we are surrounded by water on 3 sides where they have wal-to-wall buildings to keep that heat in. We had a record yesterday of 102 and heat index of 114. My cheapass had to finally give in about the first week of July. That was the longest I ever lasted...oh hell no...suffered.
Next place I go has to have CAC as a priority which is hard since most places around here are older and have wall units if anything at all. CAC is so much easier to use and has been cheaper for me. One control only---this is a big deal when my wife and daughter are not paying the bills (only thing better would be a lock so only I could adjust it). Also you don't have to remember when you leave a room to turn it up (so it doesn't go on as much when nobody is there) and to remember to shut doors to the rooms all the way so it seals. Now when we leave out bedroom it feels like sauna in the rest of the house. I pretty much live in my PC room right now in this heat which I will miss dearly:(

Nothing definite yet unfortunately. For the last month I have been in no man's land meaning too early to secure something now but I still felt I needed to look and not delay any more. I called a place today and they said I am just about in the right time frame now (for them) so I made an appointment to go look tomorrow after work but everything else has been telling me too early so nothing I can do right now. I tried upgrading (here we have 3 bedrooms) so I that I could have my own PC room and it was too tight budget-wise so now we have to downgrade back to just 2 bedroom which means my PC will have to fit into a bedroom or living room--which sucks---I realty, really enjoyed the ability to shut a door and work in peace.
Yeah I was up north a couple weeks ago, near Fresno, and it was 115 outside. That's a little warm for me. Its been in the 90s outside here, have a small wall a/c unit that I've been running nonstop, its fine during the day as I sit near it on the lappy, but when I go to bed, its hella hot in there, even with a fan. Luckily once the sun goes goes down the temp drops dramatically and you get a nice ocean breeze (the pier is only like 10 minutes from here.)
