Good old team based multiplayer FPS games for PC to play with friends....

me and 15 friends are gonna play a game multiplayer, some of them have old systems and are inexperienced, all our systems can run halo combat evolved. We want to divide ourselves into teams of 8 players for some tactical play(preferably). Plz post some good games that almost meet my preferences. thank you in advance... :)

Ghost Recon with Desert Siege and Island Thunder, plus all the mods that are available for it.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory would be worth trying as it is free and will work on just about any PC or laptop. F.E.A.R. multiplayer is also avilable for free. They are both excellent games and even if you don't like them you or your friends won't have wasted any money.

how old are your systems? tf2 doesn't require much to run smoothly. Another option is cs 1.6

I'll second this. That game was fantastic back in the day.

i dnt no the correct specs of their pcs.. but halo 1 runs on all of them.. r the system requirements of both the games similar?

hey, is there any way to play tf2 with the 2 gb non steam version than downloading the 11 gb steam one... we have really bad internet connections too :D
