Hello everyone! I just finished fallout 4, currently am playing Dishonored, Doom, Rainbow Six Siege. I am pretty keen on buying Sunset Overdrive and Witcher, but not sure if they are my type (what's your experience with them?). I would really like some good FPS game that isn't cod or titanfall or destiny or anything too fantasy-oriented. Do you have any recommendations for me? Thanks in advance!

I'm pretty sure Doom is more "fantasy" oriented than CoD or even Titanfall with all the "extradimensional demons" thing it has going on.

Nevertheless i would recommend the recently released Bioshock:The Collection. A trio of FPS games with great story , narrative, gameplay, characters etc. which are also remastered for the X1 (including all the dlc) and comes at a pretty good price for a trilogy.

Another good pick would be Metro Redux. Both of the Metro games also remastered and in a good price, although the're more in the survival horror category.

Oh and ifyou liked Doom then definetly Wolvenstein: The New Order.

Those are my two cents though and you should take them with a grain of salt. Do a bit of a research yourself first if you want to give them a try.

Cheers.

Can you get Half Life 2 on it?

Also, if you haven't already, might as well get Bioshock. And Modern Warfare 2 is one of the best games in the genre. If you still have your 360, get it on that.

If you haven't played the Bioshock games? They're pretty grounded experiences and have satisfying combat.

Your opinion on Fantasy I assume is heavily implying on the Spaceman theme, which isn't really a thing in Bioshock.

@mentlegen07: What about Halo: The master chief collection, or Halo 5: Guardians?(Xbox One games)

I've only played Halo 3 (Xbox 360), I'm quite a fan of this game but I just haven't really played it on Xbox One.

Most of my mates say it's good to play once you're into the game itself.

I know you said no CoD but, as someone that generally find CoD underwhelming, the newest installment (Infinite Warfare) has a pretty badass single-player campaign. It also has a really fun co-op zombie mode which is a good compromise of multi- and single-player as well.

Bioshock, buy the collection and enjoy.

The Metro games are also very fun and well-made.
