IGN recently had a Most Frightening Game Speak Ever http://games.ign.com/articles/827/827451p1.html which makes one wonder, what is one of the greatest Game Speak ever? Where both voice acting and script had fit so perfectly it makes us cry, or cheer for more.

For me that be Jon Irenicus From Baldur's Gate 2

They forgot to add Sin & Punishment :P For greatest voice acting, I would say Half Life 1 & 2. From Dr Kleiner's anxious enthusiasm to the G-Man's eerie, other-worldly stuttering to Barney's world-weary voice. Each voice fits the character perfectly.

I thought Final Fantasy X did an alright job, atually, just Auron's voice actor. GTA games usually do a solid job. But, I couldn't say that any of the performances I can remember made me feel passionate for the characters. The story speaks for itself, learn from Ico, the less dialogue usually the better.

Yeah, FFX was pretty good, so was XII. The MGS games are also pretty decent.
