i would have to say Team Fortress and Day of Defeat that came along with Half-Life. I would spend hours playing both and sometimes i still get on just for fun
Half-Life probably takes the crown. It's funny how a Quake II mod can change the world. Heck, even Half-Life 2 uses some of the Quake I code.
KOTOR is amazing as well. The graphics are HORRIBLE by today's standards (and not in a nostalgic or stylish way; they're just plain bad), but it's the gameplay that counts.
I still haven't played Starcraft. Well, I've played the demo and it sucked. The full game is probably better.
