What we know.

• It's a sequel.
• It's not Resistance 3. (Confirmed by Insomniac)
• It's published by Sony.
• It's not The Agent because Agent is not a sequel and is not published by Sony.
• It's not David Jaffe's new Twisted Metal. (Confirmed by him today.)
• It can be either Motorstorm 3, a new Getaway, Starhawk, LBP 2 or a new Syphon filter.
• Update: NOT Motorstorm, Starhawk or Killzone2.

Its got to be something that hasn't had a new-gen release yet. Maybe even something from PS1 that's kinda been forgotten. If it turns out to be something everyones expecting that'll be a crap 'surprise sequel'.

Im going to wait here and listen. As Ive said, alot of people get excited about stupid stuff (ridge racer, wootang shaolin style, etc). Watch this be something totally lame.

I'm hoping for Starhawk. I miss Star Wars Battlefront, and this seems like the next best thing.

If it's anything with modern warfare American military people going about in an Iraque type urban envrioment then I'm not interested. Also if it's some kind of warzone game with space marins and bulky shoulderpads and skin heads I'm also not interested.

If it's a football or racing game again, I'm not interested.

So let's see shall we.

So that leaves us with Syphon Filter or The Getaway. I dont care about Syphon Filter (lame generic spy stories), but i'd love me some Getaway. :D

I would take a Syphon Filter over a Socom game any day of the week, and twice on Sunday.

The SP in Socom games was never all that. It was interesting, but utterly forgettable. ZERO story. At least the Syphon Filter games tried to have a story.

So disappointed. The trailer tonight better be the best looking game on PS3.
