Halo 1 or Halo 2?

In my personal opinion, I would say Halo 1 was best storywise, while Halo 2 had the best gameplay and new features, which made a giant leap forward from Halo 1.

What do you think? :lol:

I'll go with Halo 1, Better single player, better story.

Halo 2 had amazing online multiplayer but that's a secondary issue for me.

the skulls and scarab gun added too much fun to consider the story mode weak; the infinite sword glitch kicked ass too

great topic because i just started playing halo 2 a few hours ago.

i bought an xbox just for halo: CE and it was worth every cent because i played it for 2 weeks straight. it was one of the best and most amazing games i have ever played but halo 2 is just...well how should i put it...mediocre? i don't intend to play online that's why my main focus is on the singleplayer and halo 2 is in that respect just mediocre if you ask me. back than in the days when halo came out i really was blown away not only by its graphics but also its gameplay.

now i don't even consider halo 2 having outstanding gameplay. my vote goes definitely to the original halo. one of the best games i have ever played.

I didn't care for Halo 2 at all. I consider the only game that I regret buying. I paid full price for it, and I really regret that. I love Halo CE, though. Probably one of my favorite games, both for the solo gameplay and the occasional LAN. Even my friends don't like Halo 2.

I didn't find anything redeeming in Halo 2 other than the plasma swords...
