hardest game you have beaten

what is the hardest game you have beaten? or that youve played. mine is gears of war on hardcore (only halfway through on insane)

Starcraft in Asian server...., against Korean players 3 on 2 (one got disconnected) 

As for single player, I guess Ninja Gaiden 2. 

Ninja Gaiden Black...boy did I feel satisfied when I finally beat that game after a YEAR (yes, a year) of trying and quitting over and over. It's one of my favorite games now.

What difficulty did you beat it on? I was going to say that too on Master Ninja. 

Chrono trigger just fighting Lavos was completely unfair 

Banjo Tooie was pretty hard too

In all seriousness, I beat MOH: Allied Assault on the hardest difficulty setting... that was pretty darn hardcore.

I feel kind of lame saying Ninja Gaiden, but that's the truth.

The hardest game I've PLAYED is Battletoads. I played that game for seven years. I got to the seventh level.

I can beat Ikaruga on Easy mode with only one credit... (For those of you who haven't played the game, Easy mode is a lot harder than it sounds.)

I don't recall a choice of difficulty levels on Metroid Prime.

I don't know what the hardest game I finished was, probably StarCraft-Brood War.

But the hardest is definitely F-Zero Maximum Velocity on Master, after 3 years I finally unlocked that stupid Jet Vermillion. Man that game is insane

Four years!!! Four LOOOONG years till I could beat it!

Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarters.  This game was insane hard. It didnt allow you to save more than 11 times the entire game.  Bosses and enemies were hard.  You would play 3 to 4 hours without being able to save and then get locked in this "panic rooms" were you would have to defeat all the enemies you've never seen before , before you were allowed to leave the room.  Makes for some amazing intense gaming.  I did finish the game though.richierich176

Sounds really terrible. For me it was R-Type III (SNES). In one of the stages you have to make all the way to the boss (you know, a single scratch makes you blow), and after that you must get back to the start of the same stage, but this time BACKWARDS! It's hard, trust me...
