Hey, I just downloaded Harvest Moon for SNES on my Wii via VC. The game is great so far but there's just one thing that's bothering me. Is there no "Pause/Start" screen? I'm using a gamecube controller and I've tried every button and there is no start menu. However, when I go to the controls menu for the game, it says that button "2" is the "Pause" button. Does this mean that I am robbed of a "Start" screen just because I'm using a GC controller instead of the Classic controller?
Try the Z button, that will "pause the game" giving you the current active tool, the day and the money you have, as well as the time when you get the clock. There isn't an official pause in the game so that's the closest, or you can go in doors in which time stops.
