[QUOTE="IndianaPwns39"][QUOTE="_Bear"] Because when people buy them, they think it's ok not to come up with new IP. I own a ton Snes game and I won't be buying them again, they sold them on Wii and to a lesser extent on Dsi. I just hate the practice, plus Nintendo remakes everything Ad nausium. I can't believe it was that difficult to understand my original post, but not my problem.

I did understand your original post. I just wanted you to elaborate on why you think it's an issue.
It's all well and good that you still own a ton of SNES games, but not everybody can say the same thing. If you don't want to buy them, then don't. But for people that missed them the first time, or new gamers wanting to try out the classics, there's no harm. This idea that re-releases are plaguing the creative side of the industry is ridiculous.
Its not just that, its reusing the same asset with updated graphics and Nintendo is the king of it. They just keep making the same game over and over again with a new coat of paint. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth. If something does not change this time around, I will be skipping the Wii U 2 or whatever they are calling it now.Fair enough. As far as Nintendo goes though, they haven't been that great in releasing new IPs for a long time.
