Shooters I think would be girl friendly because they dont requrie you to memorize a whole bunch of buttons. Just coordination with point and shoot._AbBaNdOn
I don't know what to say to this...
Well the games you currently play seem to be what you enjoy the most, it's not your problem if that isn't good enough for him.
If you want to try the kind of games he plays, you could ask for some practice time on your own to get the feel for them, see how you fare on your own before playing against or with him.
Smash Bros is pretty good for learning with since it can be a little tactical, not hugely, and you need to think ahead sometimes so that you can deliver the most damage and ensure a good win. Though that depends more on the gamer really than anything else.
Shooters can be managed by anyone, it's never really a case of coordination but just how quickly you can react when you hear a soundand howmuch you like to shoot things, they don't requirethe kind of coordination a fighter or racing games does.
But no body can ask someone to like the same games they do, tastes are always different.

Oh look Muthsera adding nothing to the conversation except trolling, what a shock. _AbBaNdOn
He's a troll for pointing out your insult to the TC's gender?
Oh, the irony.
Amongst my many game suggestions that actually had something to do with the topic??? Where was his suggestions?? Oh thats right he didnt make any and neither did you. You just come on here to be ------------------._AbBaNdOnI actually came here to look at the question. I was reading the previous posts as I didn't want to needlessly reiterate a previously mentioned game. While I was reading, I found your insult to the female mentality. I honestly didn't know what I should post about games, using your example that women cannot memorize well enough to play games other than shooters. I mean, I would have suggested something like playing two games on different screens, like last summer a friend and I played Morrowind on Xbox. It's a single player game, but we played in the same room, talking to each other as we played physically separate games. However, according to your description of the level of memorization capabilities in the female gender, I don't know if a woman would be able to play such a game. I wasn't being sarcastic, I honestly didn't know how to respond to your assessment.

You just come on here to be ------------------._AbBaNdOnuh right. My suggestion is play his favorite games and get into it (whether or not you actually like them a bunch.) But if you are serious about getting into games shooters are the way to go.
Chances are, if you haven't felt compelled to pick up and try a game yet, even after watching him, then you are never going to get into games. I'm pretty sure everyone here started to enjoy gaming because at some point in their lives, they saw one and decided they wanted to learn to play it because it looked like fun to them.
If after all these years you still have never seen or heard about a game that piqued your interest, then you're trying to force yourself into the wrong hobby. Even if you did find one that interested you, it's going to besomething you've never watched him play, and thus, not something he'd really care to spend time playing either.
