Help with my personal nightmare decision!

I just want people that are unstupid to comment. Lots of idiots on here.

I've always been a Nintendo or 360 guy. I got Playstation for the first time since Playstation 1 back in like 97.

I love the PS4 so far. I'm happy with my choice. I like the exclusives more and never played the Uncharted Series... and any PS series. The Last of Us has also been great.

As you can see by my name, I loved Alan Wake. With Quantum Break coming out in 4 weeks... I have a issue. I had originally planned to get this game and a console for launch. I am now backing off that. I will get it, and I will play it at some point, but I don't know about getting an entire console just for 1 game. There's no other XB1 exclusives I care about in any way.

I just started playing the Nathan Drake collection. i love it. I'm only on the first game, almost done. Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta is out again, and it is awesome. Looks really good so far. So I've basically made a decision that I'm going to forget XB1 and Quantum Break until this fall or so, save some money, and focus on more PS titles. I've never played Heavy Rain, or Beyond Two Souls either, and Firewatch looks cool too.

So I was thinking about making it simpler, buying UC 4 when it gets released middle May, get Firewatch and Heavy Rain/Beyond in that pack for 40 bucks.

All 4 of these games will come in at just 100 bucks plus tax or so. A new console even if I go craigslist and get lucky with QB will be at least 250 at the very best. If I'm lucky. I hate to have a whole new console for just 1 FREAKING game. And my PC isn't nearly powerful enough for QB.

What doyou guys think?

Heavy Rain/Beyond Two Souls a good deal at 40.00? Firewatch worth it? What do guys think about this all? Also any chance a PS Store sale happens on these? I doubt it since they just got released.

I wouldn't get a console for just one game. I do think you shoud at least wait on the reviews for Quantum Break. Games are so hyped it could be a let down. I made that mistake with battlefront.

@terminalyinsane: cool thanks. Yeah that is waht I'm thinking too. I just love Remedy games. It could be a 7/10 game. Which isn't a bad thing. I just need peopel to help sway me one way or another. I hate Gears of War and Halo. Those exlusives do nothign for me

@quantum_wake: I had both systems. I found it difficult to keep up with two systems. One system usually collects dust. In my case it was the Xbox 1, so I sold it. I have plenty of PS4 games I haven't finished. Both systems have their merits. I never understood the bashing of a system.

From what you have said you are more of a PlayStation fan so if it just for one game I wouldn't at least for now wait to see what the reviews have to say.

However if any future exclusive take your interest or some of your friends have a Xbox then it might be worth considering but for now I would wait and see what people have to say about Quantum Break.

Agreed - I typically wait until there are multiple titles I want before going in on a new console.
