I am not very much into RTS' or good at them although, I'd like to get into them. The problem is, I don't have a great computer so my question is: what is the best console RTS out there? Thanks.

Sid Meier's on the 360 is probably one of the most advanced and easiest to pick up, though I don't really know. I'm not a RTS person...

I would guess Civilization revolutions or Tom clancy's End war. They were built from the ground up fr consoels as opposed to beign a shoddy port job. Even though Revolutions is a rip off of Civ IV for PC it still had a lot of effort into making it work for consoles apparently.

...You don't need a great computer. Get your computer's specs, find a few PC titles of interest that were released during 2006 or earlier, and check their system requirements. RTS is for the PC; thankfully, it's a long and storied genre. You don't need an exorbitantly priced computer to play some of the best games in the genre. Hell, I haven't had an "exorbitantly priced computer" since my P.B. Pentium II, hahaha. That hasn't stopped me from gaming on the PC, and it shouldn't stop you either.

To hell with console RTSs.

while I agree if his PC has onboard graphics then he can't run all PC RTS, some not even on minimum.

But wouldn't you agree that he would still be better off playing a classic PC RTS over modern console fare?

You should definitely make a rain check on Halo Wars, which is bound to hit retail next month. There are critics that have already given it favorable reviews so you may want to check it out, that is assuming you already own a X360.
