how do i get back into gaming

hello,

first off i want to apoligize for any flaws in my english, it is not my first language.

so i have been an avid gamer for as long as i can remember,but about 4 months ago i didnt seem to enjoy myself anymore so i took a very long break from gaming hoping that i would get exited for gaming again but i still cant seem to enjoy myself . the story in a game was always the most important thing for me in a game but i just cant get immersed in the game anymore.

Difficult one this. I am more a multiplayer so story does not concern me that much. I did find that you quickly get bored when constantly playing games but due to time constraints I can not wait to turn my console on again. What platform did you normally play on? I am sure you will enjoy a game like Last of Us to get you back in gaming.

You don't try to get back into it, you either want to or not. If you want to get back into you wont have to ask how you'll already be gaming.

currently im playing on a xbox 360 (i dont want to buy the one until im back into gaming )and on the pc

during the last year my free time has been cut in half so i dont play that much anymore as i used to so i find it weird that im not exited to play

If you have to force yourself to enjoy something, you're not enjoying it. Why would you want to do something that you find no enjoyment in?

What consoles and games do you like?

If you're looking for a good story check out a game available in Steam called Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines. It's an old one, but honestly the writing and world setting is top notch. You'll have to download a fan made patch to play it but it's well worth it, trust me.

@The_Last_Ride: well im an xbox fan but i have a gaming pc at my disposal as well

for the games :i have played and liked a lot of games ( i think i played like 75% of all console games that came out last year) but i will give you my favourites so you have a thought of what i like

• mass effect series

• system schok 2
• alpha protocol (although i didnt like the game so much i loved the choise system)
• swtor
• heavy rain ( i actually lend my friends pc for that game)
• the darkness series
• the walking dead
• spec ops the line
• metro both of them

If you enjoyed Tell Tale's Walking Dead, I'd recommend The Wolf Among Us.

I'm surprised no one has said Skyrim.
I recommend The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (a great RPG with lots of story)
Also, The Last of Us and Devil May Cry

Story elements/writing in Skyrim is crap though.

Same thing happened to me and then one day I just decided to play a game again and realized how much I missed it even though I didn't have all the free time I used to have.

Well maybe you just can't enjoy gaming anymore.... Forever.....

Which Is not bad at all..... Gaming sucks anyway....

Find other hobbies. Just keep up on gaming news and eventually some game will grab your interest.
