Thirty two. Been playing video games since I was a kid. I have had all kinds of systems but am pretty much a Nintendo fanboy for life. I have owned (if a kid can own something) at one point in time the Atari 2600, Colecovision, NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, Playstation, Nintendo 64, Xbox and Gamecube. I currently own a Wii and DSi.
[QUOTE="WhiteKnight77"][QUOTE="_Bear"] I have been gaming since Pong in the mid 70s no breaks really. I played pinball before Pong._Bear
I have a few more years on you and like you, was playingpinball before Pong came out and video games since (and the occasional pinball game still).
Nice to know there are a few of us on here. I see you mostly PC game, any consoles?I only play PC gamess, matter of fact, back in 2000, I put the 6-8 month old PSX aside to never be used again once I bought my first PC. Now I have a FN MachV to game with. While not a top of the line model, it has some serious horsepower.
23 soon to b 24 and been playing since days of lemmings and commander keen:P
Ive got a gamboy colour, SNES, GBA, DS, Ps2 & Ps3
I am 35 years old and have been playing on and off video games for about 28 years. My first system I played was the Atari 2600 (formerly the Atari VCS) in 1982. Home consoles and handhelds I played or owned are the Atari 2600, Atari 5200, NES, SNES, Gameboy, Gameboy Advanced, GameCube, Nintendo DS Lite/DSi, and Wii.
Unlike most here who were not born yet or just too young to remember, I have experienced the video game crash of 1984, but did not recognize its effects until 1985 when I began to see video games selling in the bargain bin. It was not until the early 1990s when I learned that there was a video game crash.
45 yeah I'm old..._BearYou are not simply old. You are, to be accurate, an old grandpa man who is using a walker and yells at kids from his porch. They let you post at Gamespot in the retirement home? ;) Myself, I'm 29 going on 30, which of course means I'm almost half dead and need to start shopping for a walker. Do they have good apple sauce in that home? Just asking. I love apple sauce.
32...and realizing I have been playing almost 30 years is kinda scary, but kinda cool at the same time. Started with the Atari 2600 and went from there.
On a side note, I really do miss arcades :( They aren't completely gone, but where I live they are pretty tough to come by.
I'm 14, been gaming for around 10 years I think :)
I played Spyro on my PSX and I was hooked, and I was always naturally gifted to play video games. I was good at them then, and it hasn't changed. I beat my friends at almost any genre of game
32, my first systems were the 2600 and theCollecovision. Remarkable that I still continued gaming since ET was my first game ever. I can't remember at exactly what age I started.....5-6, but it's been a long time. I own any system that has good games for it, namely, all of them.
My Mother turns 53 next week and plays games. In particular she has played and beaten every Zelda, thats her game. She will also play anything I suggest after she asks me for a game like Zelda. Then she was will mock me for it not being anything like Zelda...
25 here and I have been gaming since I was 5. It all started with super mario brothers and Contra for the NES.
older than you =P25 here...own a 360
Didn't post in OT since alot of people in OT don't really game anymore...
