My N64 is at a relative's house, 5 hours away. I will probably get my N64 back in a couple months. Nobody else I know has an N64. I want to buy this dk64 game now in case someone else takes it, but I'm worried that it might be broken or wont work (since it was traded in), and I can't test it until I get my N64 back in a few months, and the 30 day warranty for the game will end. I dont know how it will have a warranty anyway since they cant replace the game if theres only one left... should I take the risk and buy it? Is it worth it? Its $14.99

That's not any less than you can get it online for so if you can do that I'd just wait.

I have to agree with the above poster, if you can get it online than just wait. It's roughly the same price if not cheaper on Amazon or Ebay.

Btw, how does the store have a copy of Donkey Kong 64? I thought they purged their stores of older games except PS2, Gamecube, and GBA titles which they desperately try to sell off.

Do you have a driver's license? I don't know what to tell you about waiting on the game, certain Nintendo games go quickly.

How does Gamestop even have the game? I haven't seen an Xbox game(let alone a N64) game for years there.

Its not all that rare. IF and only IF ordering it online is not an option should you go for the stores copy. Otherwise you can find it online for about the same price all day everyday.

What a shame, you should've bought it. I'm surprised it was even being sold their. All the stores in my region have phased out pretty much everything pre-XBOX. But, for future reference, you have 30 days to return your game if it doesn't work. And, as long as you have the receipt, you can return it to any GameStop- it doesn't have to be the one you purchased the game from. Tsk, what a shame. I hope you find another one soon. ^_^

Heheh yeah... and like I said in my first post, my N64 is not with me and by the time I get it back, the 30 day guarantee will be gone. And I guess that means I wouldve had to get the $3 guarantee or something

You can easily find a copy online for $14.99.It's by no means a rare game.
