I'm looking for a game where ammo is scarce, I want toget a little suspence and tension from a shooter instead of having a seemingly unlimited ammo supply.

Anyone got any suggestions??

System Shock 2, Call of Juarez and STALKER could help...or not. I definitely remember having to swap guns a lot in those games from a lack of ammo (or guns breaking from overuse).

Lol, my experience of Fallout 3 (without mods) is having about 2000 bullets for my Ak47. System Shock 2 is a good choice, as someone already said I believe. Bioshock is a horrible one, there are rocket launchers rounds and bullets laying around every corner in that game, it's ridiculous. Also, I think Metro 2033 is supposed to have very little ammo, and is more about survival.

Resident Evil 1....but you're probably after a more current game.

Unless you suck at the game, you shoukdnt be having ANY ammo problems in any RE game, except for maybe the first one, and even then its only really a problem in the REmake.

Heck in RE2 i could kill pretty much everything i saw and still have ammo later.

I kept extra ammo in the crate dimension and would shoot zombies that respawn. I play how I want to. Anyway, another is Dark Cloud (PS2). Weapons can be developed and used in battles but have to be repaired to keep from breaking. If the player keeps going deeper into battle without restocking repair powder, that may happen.

I don't recall F.E.A.R. being too overly generous with the ammo. I could be wrong though.
