I just had an awesome game idea!

A Transformers RTS!

It could span the entire storyline of the canon Transformers Universe. From Unicron and Primus all the way to (ugh) Beast Machines.

Instead of spawning diffrent units both sides spawn blank protoforms. Instead of choosing a unit to spawn you choose what kind of vehicle to scan and the protoform becomes that kind of unit.

For recourses you obviously mine Energon, and hero units would be an absolute must.

The Factions would be:

Autobots

Decepticons

Maximals

Predacons (Beast Wars rules!)

and Vehicons (I hated Beast Machines but it still happened)

There could even be an Alternate Universe campaign where you play as characters from The Armada and Movie universe. (Even if Armada sucked)

You could even design your own units by coming up with custom vehicles and such. If I missed anything or you have anything to say please drop some Ideas.

So what do you guys think?

Thats makes 3 of us, plus I find Transformers a bit nerdy, film, games and tv shows.

I'm not into Transformers at all (ont by design, just a lack of exposure) but I think it would be awesome premise for an RTS game. But I'm also the guy who suggested a Guitar Hero RPG where you work your way up from a roadie to international Guitar Lord.aspro73

I'd buy that. I liked that idea in Game Informer a few months back about a Rock Band RPG.

So you are playing as the Decepticons. You spawn two Protoforms. You have one protoform scan a Jeep and another scan a tank.

The Jeep unit is weak in robot form and fast in vehicle form. (Scout)

The Tank unit has powerful attacks in both forms, but is faster in robot form, but is capable of rolling over enemy units and tougher terrain in tank form.

You can make a unit transform at anytime.

I would try the demo and get it if the demo was good. That is a really cool ideai_am_dummy
