I know that hyped games like gears 3 or uncharted 3 will get 9.0/5?

Some little **** that doesnt affect the game? The same reason why uncharted 2 didnt get 10.

Guess what gamespot havent had some decent reviews yet

infamous 2 7.5 (shouldve got 8.5)

duke nukem (should of got 6.5)

mortal kombat (shouldve got 9.0)

Back to topic i doubt anygames will get a 10.Because of one little bad thing.

I take reviews from GS or any source as a general guide to what a game is actually like. I know that if a game on GS gets an 8, I will consider it to be on a range from a 6 to a 10; + or - 2 in other words. I never take reviews literally, but rather I see them as a general ballpark figure of what I will likely think of a given game.

Inf 2 deserves a 90+ score at least.

But yeah it's hard to say when a game is "perfect."

They're never perfect, always some niggling thing, some small quirk or hangup.

If you are relying upon one solitary review to decide upon how good/bad a game is then it is pointless. Reviews are individually informed opinions on the game and will obviously vary from reviewer to reviewer. The only way to use a review to determine how good/bad a game is to read a number of them from a range of sources, seeing what each individual reviewer has said about the game and recognise the common areas that are pointed out as being good/bad.

The next best thing is to actually personally experience and try the game for yourself.

What this guy said :P

Your opinion isn't necessarily going to be the same as the reviewers.

Very opinion based. Like the reviewers. You can't just give a 10. A 10/10 is like, a game that is nearly perfect in its genre.
