I hope i'm posting this in the right section. I want a Nintendo 64! I'd love to go back and playing the following:
- Mario 64
- Mario Kart
- Golden Eye
- WWF No Mercy
- ZELDA (Never actually played it so i'd love to be able to see what the hype was about!)

I own a PS3 and love it. But, i'm an all around gamer so I can really play anything and as long as it's fun I can play. Just recently kids started bringing there Gameboy Colors back into school and are playing the original Pokemon Blue and Red games! I'm a Senior in high school and replaying this game brings back a lot of memories, plus it's really addicting!

My question is, what's the easiest way I can get my hands on an N64 and the games mentioned above? I've checked Ebay and saw some selling there and they were relatively cheap. I feel like the games may be a little harder to find. I'd also much rather get a system that's maybe been refurbished since the console is so old now, i'd rather not buy it directly from an owner if I don't have to only because there may be many things wrong with it. So my question is, are there any shops that anyone knows of that sells old systems/games? Even if their refurbed it doesn't matter to me, atleast that means they've been looked at and repaired. I live in New Jersey if that helps out at all...thanks for the help!

I realize this isn't as specific as you're looking for but I would recommend the Yellow Pages of the nearest 50k + populated town. Cities that size generally have a locally owned and operated shop that doesn't have a generational cutoff point like Gamestop.

Those games are really easy to find, you should go to your local stores before buying on ebay

look around thrift stores like Salvation Army and Goodwill first then check Ebay or used game stores. The 2nd 2 will try to charge like $15-$30 each for those games which is a rippoff. I see those systems at Goodwill and yardsales for super cheaper, like $10-$20 for the system and $4 for the games.

craigslist for an easy win. the only game you may have trouble getting is the zeldas. the price on those can be pretty high. ideally youd get a bundle of craiglist that has a ton of games. I got mine for one x360 game that i got in trade.

Those games should be easy to find I think. I'd check any used game stores/flea markets/etc around, then ebay.

do you have an HDTV? because n64 is notorious for looking bad on those unless your tv is small like 40"..then it might look ok.. its better to play N64 on and SDtv

however.. do you have a wii? its the best way to play n64..ithas awesome PQ for hdtvs... the virtual console has mario 64,mariokart 64, both zeldas..

youll only be missing goldeneye and WWF..

if you want to feel even more retro ..get this to use an n64 controller on wii http://www.raphnet-tech.com/products/n64_to_wii/index.php
