If you had to pick one defining game from each console you owned!!

So I was wondering which game was the defining game of each console you owned. (PC included) What I mean by defining game is a game that hooked you from beginning to end. A game that you thought of even after completion; a game that continued to suck you back in time and time again. A game that no matter how advanced games got stay seems timeless and as genuine as the day you first played it.

PS2 - Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (My personal favorite PS2 experience although the game is definitely not timeless; GTAIV blows it out of the water as far as graphics, detail and sound and even though I liked SA better than GTAIV, it's tough to go back and play it after GTAIV)

GameCube - Either Metroid Prime or Super Smash Bros. Melee
Wii - So far Super Mario Galaxy
360 - So far Call of Duty 4
PC - Very very tough to pick. WoW, Starcraft and Doom were all heavy addictions for me. Doom was the first time I ever really got addicted to a PC game, WoW was my deepest addiction, and StarCraft was the best game of the three. I guess I'll pick Doom.

Keep in mind that the titles I've picked may not be my favorite for that system, just the ones I think have been the most important or as TC say, the defining titles.

• NES: Super Mario Bros. 3 (I actually only have owned this on VC but whatever. Probably the best game for NES, next to Burger Time :p)
• Genesis (Megadrive): Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Epic. I have nothing else to say.)
• N64: Zelda Ocarina of Time (with Majora's Mask, Super Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Donkey Kong 64 and others, this was a hard decision)
• Gameboy/Color: Pokemon Silver (Great times back in the day trying to get my friends to trade me a Ho-oh for something less valuable lol. Dragon Warrior/Quest Monsters was great as well.)
• Gamecube: Super Smash Bros. Melee (Surpassed in its genre only by Brawl, imo. Props to Metroid Prime/Echoes, although I personally am not a fan, and Zelda The Wind Waker)
• Gameboy Advance: Zelda Minish Cap (I actually do not own this, but have completely played through still. LoZ:MC had a huge world for the GBA. Great fun. I own Pokemon Ruby, Fire Red, and Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls. All great.)
• PS: Final Fantasy VIII/IX (can't pick between the two. Love both.)
• Wii: Super Mario Galaxy (Although my personal favorite so far is Brawl, Mario Galaxy is beyond amazing as a platformer. Truely remarkable.)
• DS: Animal Crossing: Wild World (not as good as the Gamecube predecessor but being the first ever (well, tied for first ever) Nintendo Wi-Fi game is huge, and it did it in a big way. Pokemon Diamond is an honorable mention and a close second. Also my favorite game for DS.)
• 360: Oblivion (so it's not exclusive (what is for 360) tons of 360 owners have this game. I'd say Gears of War with the same reasons (exclusivity and all) but I've never played it.)
• PC: The Sims with all expansions (Everybody has played the Sims or Sims 2 at some point. Okay, not everybody, but you get where I'm going. Honorable mentions go to Starcraft and Warcraft III (both with expansions))
