Funny.. I'm playing Shadows of the Damned, who happens to star a Hispanic character.... The Ballad of Gay Tony starred one as well, de la Republica Dominica. Staying with Grand Theft Auto, how about San Andreas? The main character was black. Your argument doesn't hold much water. It's never the developers that are racist. It's people who are always trying to find racist things in everything. It reminds me of a debate I had when it was revealed that Resident Evil 5 was racist because "you only killed black zombies."
