In your opinion what is the best game you have played in the last 4 years?

It would depend on whether you bought the 360 version first. If you really liked the game you may want the PC one for mods. Oblivion was a real surprise for me. I drooled watching the videos and was excited watching Greg play the game when Gamespot first got a copy of the game. I expected to play this game for hours and hours... but to date I have probably only played it for about 20 hours total. I'm kind of worried the same thing might happen with Mass Effect because I'm anticipating that game as much as I was anticipating Oblivion if not more so.

i guess my choice would be rome: total war. dont even know how old it is :P

Gears of War. Online mode, of course.

Besides that, Ninja Gaiden Black. It's the only game besides the first Devil May Cry that I wanted to play the game again on higher difficulties.

Why only the last four years? Why not just count the entire last generation?

Well, anyway, I guess it would be God of War II or Gears of War. Beyond that, Ninja Gaiden (or NGB), Final Fantasy XII, Resident Evil 4, Shadow of the Colossus, Gran Turismo 4, and the first GoW.

Socom 2 wins by a large margin. I have about 350-400 hours online on that game (no lie, its pretty much the only game I touched for about a year and a half). I absolutly loved it. I just wish modders didn't ruin it or else I would still be playing it.
