You're kinda hard to read......thanks for proving my point with that link.......
Yes, Lobo is the first DLC, followed by Batgirl, Zod, and then Scorpion from Mortal Kombat (He is Neatherrealms poster boy btw)
Scorpion? Why would they put him in.. seems odd.Rattlesnake_8
I assume the same reason they put Freddy Krueger in Mortal Kombat
Scorpion? Why would they put him in.. seems odd.Rattlesnake_8And Darth Vader and Yoda in Soul Calibur IV weren't?

Not really. NetherRealm made Mortal Kombat, so it's not surprising they'd toss a Mortal Kombat character in.

season pass has been announced for awhile. It's going to have 4 characters total over the span of months. DLC is great for fighters... New characters make some things brand new again, and it's always fun to take a new character into training mode.DLC character already? I can see them trying to milk the sh!t out of this game. I'll pass.

I would rather have new game modes than characters, but not trying to say new characters are bad. Just saying this practice developers are doing is a plague.

New modes in a fighting game? I guess that is just perspective, but I wouldn't see new modes making Injustice any better.. Has a huge MK tower like mode, survival mode, all the normal modes in 2d fighters have, etc.. And that doesn't mean they are planning to milk it.. MK had 4 DLC characters, I could see Injustice have 4 total as well..And there's no Spawn or Link or Heihachi or Darth Vader or Yoda in the Soul Calibur universe, but Namco put them in anyway. Scorpion's a Mortal Kombat character, and Injustic uses a Mortal Kombat engine, by the same designers. It's not completely out of place for Scorpion to be in this game. There is no Scorpion in the DC universe.

This is the reason Zod is a no brainer.
Batgirl is another good pick. She was awesome in the animated series.
It would help to post a link confirming these characters. So, anyone still not believe me thus far?......... Batgirl confirmed 2nd downloadable character :)

I don't need a link............I'm the one who cracked the code for the Config.INI file in the DLC Season Pass.....This is the first thread to the leak....look it up.....you will not see another post before April 19th about this on any site.
Config File source from my DLC Season Pass:

Other than Lobo, the DLC lineup is pretty underwhelming to be honest. Batgirl, another Batman character who uses props and gadgets like all the other Bat characters. General Zod, the evil counterpart to Superman who has the exact same powers as Superman. Then we have Scorpion of Mortal Kombat, a character everyone has seen a dozen times over and will very likely offer no surprises in how he plays.
Don't get me wrong, more characters in a fighting game is good. They offer more variety and more meta-game options. However, the character choices for the DLC just seem lazy and uninspired, way too redundant.

I fully understand what you are saying as the DC universe is a rich stable to draw from and some of these characters seem uninspired given those vast options.
I do think Zod has the potential to be a cool character and despite being a Krypotonian they could make his fighting style divergent from Superman.
Scorpion is a lame decision given the fact that this game is rooted entirely within the DC continuum. It's blatant and uninspired fan service and the irony is that Injustice doesn't really even play much like a MK game, thus his inclusion seems that much more perfunctory and dull.
And Batgirl seems painfully redundant. Even within the Batman universe they could have utilized somebody like Lady Shiva, Huntress, Deadshot, or any number of other characters who would have been far more interesting than her.
Still an awesome game and Lobo is a fantastic character.
After further digging..... I've found possible data in one of the packed images on the game that reveal the same type of structure that Mortal Kombat did. I've built a render of how the DLC characters are scripted into the character select screen and how its possible that 4 other DLC characters might be available in the near future. Possibly this second set will be the ones fans voted for whereas the first are the ones predetermined by NRS.
Well, some interesting stuff I found in the code to the Skins and Season Pass code... Now don't take this too serious, but I found some interesting HEX in the Season Pass configuration file that was not listed in ASCII test or visible; but in various offsets of text, I found these converted HEX codes in text; I wont post all the HEX obviously cuz its long as hell, but heres what I found....your obvious thoughts?

It's crazy if all this proves to be right but with those initials and knowing there has to be two villains and two heroes I would have to say: 1. Martian ManHunter 2. Red Hood 3. PowerGirl 4. SubZeroWell, some interesting stuff I found in the code to the Skins and Season Pass code... I'm not holding my breath or anything, but I would love for this to be true. A list like that would be close to what players were asking for and the polls they did before the game launched.
Was anyone else hoping for some of DC's occult/magic characters? Like Phantom Stranger, John Constantine, Zatanna, Swamp Thing, etc...TheFallenDemon
I would have loved to have seen Rorschach from Watchmen.
Constantine would have been cool as well.
Well it seems my theory of an alternate set of 4 DLC Characters has pretty much been proven by famed Mortal Kombat modder Tetzrep!! A picture he put up proves that there will eventually be another set of 4 DLC characters after Lobo, Zod, Batgirl, and Scorpion. Check it out; hes apparatnly unlocked the DLC_Character_Basemodel setting in the "Coalesced.eng" as DLC:
Right on the money. Great job! We can only wait to find out about the extra 4 characters. Although it is weird that only 3 character slots are shown. Where is number 4? Maybe that is being held for Scorpion since he isn't a hero or a villain?Well it seems my theory of an alternate set of 4 DLC Characters has pretty much been proven by famed Mortal Kombat modder Tetzrep!! out of curiosity, what does that pic have anything to do w/ there being more DLC characters? Couldn't the first 4 DLC characters just fit in those 3 slots (and 1 below the othe villain DLC slot)?
and plz stop oversimplifying what "proof" really means. Nothing is "proved" in this case. Even the original leaked .ini isn't PROOF. It's evidence. And evidence that is correct, still isn't necessarily proof. But I won't go into definitions and legalities.
is it ok if u give us the offset?Well, some interesting stuff I found in the code to the Skins and Season Pass code... No, it just "proves" that those slots are actually being used. There is code in that file that will let you open up those spots. He just did that to show that those slots can actually be made.
