Is FEAR 3 a good game?

I seen it in the game store the other day and want to know how the general public feels about the game. Also a few questions:

1) is it co-op offline?

2) If it is co-op offline, it is campaign only, or is there more game modes offline to split screen.

3) How is the multiplayer online?

I will say that i realy liked the first best and some of the stuff in the second game. There are much more action in fear 3 then the horror from the first two games.

But if you like the action in the games you would not be disapointed in this. But for me i loved the horror sequences in the other games.

1. I have the PC version, so no on that.
2. If there is offline coop, it's probably just the campaign.
3. Again, on the PC, there's a bug that makes matchmaking extremely hard. For the matches I was able to get into, the game types were pretty fun actually. However, even on the consoles, I doubt it has a very big following.

Nevermind. I found out that Fear 3 has offline co-op campaign, and offline co-op bots in all the multiplayer modes. i think im going to have to buy this game. the game modes look really fun.

3. There are seriously like, no people playing. If you want to play online, get some buddies to buy or rent it to play with you. All the modes are like 4 player anyways, so it wouldn't be hard to set up a group or find other players online.

Its a good game, but I'd say don't play it alone. FEAR just isn't scary anymore, so if you get it, get it for the co-op fun, not for scares. The campaign is also around 5 hours long, so the co-op modes make it more worth it.

Played it first out on normal difficulty, then the hardest with the new character.

Then co-op with a friend online and then co-op offline split screen with a friend. The multiplayer is allso fun but a bit dead.

i heard fear 2 is the best out of the 3 games so thats the only part i have played, great game but depends what you are looking for and if that is a fright then you can`t beat resident evil of the awesome silent hill.
