Is it me or does Battlefield 3 look terrible on consoles?

Just downloaded it last night (PS3) and..........yeah it's pretty bad.

A few weeks before actual launch and this Beta version is really ugly. I don't know how they're gonna do it in such a limited time.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I prefer bc2's graphics over this. :|

looks AND plays terrible. seriously, not a good game at all.

i thought it looked really good, that said, after actually playing it i cancelled my preorder of it

i didnt like battlefield 2 or bad company too much and battlefield 3 may as well be 2.5 so i think ill pass.

ill rent it, but its just more of the same, which would be fine if i really loved BF2

beta reminds me of how i didnt like the MoH beta played it for 3hrs and never again

The graphics aren't amazing (I'm playing on the PS3) but I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the gun physics and animations. The things like jumping over railings, seeing someone go prone, and the muzzle flashes are all awesome.

I'm hoping they iron out the bugs before the official launch, but I'm actually impressed with everything other than the graphics.

Battlefield 3 is this year's Crysis to me. It will look stunning on the high end computers but it's the actual gameplay that makes the game so great. No one ever talks about how fun Crysis was, they just focus on the graphics.
