Just downloaded it last night (PS3) and..........yeah it's pretty bad.
A few weeks before actual launch and this Beta version is really ugly. I don't know how they're gonna do it in such a limited time.

i thought it looked really good, that said, after actually playing it i cancelled my preorder of it
i didnt like battlefield 2 or bad company too much and battlefield 3 may as well be 2.5 so i think ill pass.
ill rent it, but its just more of the same, which would be fine if i really loved BF2
Agreed. I just finished downloading it on the 360 to see if it fairs any better than it did on my PS3, but from what I'm hearing up here, they seem to be equally ugly.Well , shouldn't say ugly, more like unimpressive. Hope this isn't a indication of how the final product is going to look.Just downloaded it last night (PS3) and..........yeah it's pretty bad.

The graphics aren't amazing (I'm playing on the PS3) but I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the gun physics and animations. The things like jumping over railings, seeing someone go prone, and the muzzle flashes are all awesome.
I'm hoping they iron out the bugs before the official launch, but I'm actually impressed with everything other than the graphics.
Thats how I took it. The actual gameplay was addictive, and while the graphics aren't stunning, if they keep the game play tight like it is, then graphics won't be a issue.I guess I was believing the hype and was looking forward to seeing a game like the one the Gamespot showed footage of, which said it was 360 footage. If it was 360 footage it wasn't in game , cause both versions I've played, PS3, and 360, neither of them look 1/2 as good. They still have a small bit of time to adjust, or throw a coat of candy paint on it, but I'm doubtful that it will make a big difference. This time I'm not going to get my hopes up.The graphics aren't amazing (I'm playing on the PS3) but I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the gun physics and animations. Battlefield 3 is this year's Crysis to me. It will look stunning on the high end computers but it's the actual gameplay that makes the game so great. No one ever talks about how fun Crysis was, they just focus on the graphics.
