I look forward to Killzone 3, Dead Space 2, Portal 2 , DNF, Crysis 2 but LA Noire is my most anticipated, l

I got really into Heavy Rain last year, which when it got it right was GOTY 2010, I hope this game has a similiar atmosphere and some really good detective gameplay

and I love the 30's/40's LA style

anyone else with me?

It is definitely one of the games i am looking at as well. But it seems like i have to wait until 11.11.11 to get what i really want this year though.

It's not my most anticipated game (The Witcher 2 takes that by a long shot), but it'd be in my top five for sure.

It reminds me a lot of those FMV adventure games like Tex Murphy, Ripper or Gabriel Knight 2, and we haven't seen any of those in a long while.
*edit* Still, I wonder if this game's crime-solving can top Discworld Noir's awesome 'ideas inventory' stuff.

No. That distinction goes to Duke Nukem Forever, however it is most certainly my second most anticipated game of the first half. May is gonna be an awesome month!

While it's not my most anticipated game for the first half of 2011, Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is, it's definitely a game I'm really looking forward to.

Not my most, Portal 2 and Deus Ex Human Revolution are ahead of it, but that's only because we haven't heard whether or not they're making a PC version.

I'm not really sure why people mention Heavy Rain. Maybe, MAYBE the way you search the crime scene will be similar, but apart from that L.A. Noire won't be anything like Heavy Rain.

Anyway, L.A. Noire is my most anticipated game, period.

Not even close. I've never been too huge of a fan of anything Rockstar puts out. RDR is the exception.

I'm a hundred times more stoked for Portal 2, Crysis 2, and buying Dead Space today. And I don't think I've ever been as stoked as I am for Brink.

PS as for the TC, I hope you're not looking for LA:N to be like Heavy Rain...

I'm probably picking up LA Noire on release date. I'm really interested in it. Homefront is the only other game that I really want.

Perhaps people are comparing them because they both seem to involve 'digital drama' and crime-solving, but...yeah, those are the only similarities I can think of.

I'm looking forward to it, but it's not my MOST anticipated game. My most anticipated games for the first half are Conduit 2 and Homefront. Right now I'm greatly enjoying Dead Space 2.
