So you are actually comparing a virus to pulling a trigger. I don't get how that makes sense to you. And I'm sure you've done a hundred times more community service than I did, though I don't see how that's relevant: I'm not judging you as a person, man (who am I to judge anyone?). I'm simply pointing out there are professions that are far more harmful than regulated prostitution or porn. Hell, the way I see it if you sell cigarettes you're more harmful to society than a hooker: aside from this aids nonsense, who do they ever harm? I'm sick of this christianity-inherited fear of sex, homosexuality and anything even remotely connected.

You're both right. Case closed. Back on topic: I heard miss Grey talk and she doesn't sound bad at all. Maybe the script in SR3 is not so good: a bad script can make anyone sound hammy, even Patrick Stewart phoned it in when reading the loading screens in Castlevania LoS.

The end is death in both cases so I dont see the need to be hypocritical about it. Anyways my copy of SR III came in last night and I find nothing wrong with her voice acting and she seems to fit in line with every other person. I actually had to google which part she plays because none of the voices stick out as horrible. Like some other person mention and I agree, try out the SR II DLC which had Tera Patrick in it. That is terrible voice acting.

Yeah, Saints Row 3 is what the OP is referring to and she's not bad at all. I don't care what she did for a living previously; as long as the voice is good and it fits the character, I'm fine with it. Granted, she's not perfect, but for the role in SR3, she's fine.

I just found out Hulk Hogen is playing Angel in that game. WTF? I never checked the cast but I am playing it at the moment.

Sasha Greys role is just fine, but then I did choose the Eastern Europe, Russain type accent which I am trying to figure out is genuine or not.. So yeah, I guess even Hulk Hogan sounds good compared ot that. Hey I don't care too much I wanted something a bit more exotic for my toon, the American voice sounded too default.

The difference is voluntarity: shooting a guy is a deliberate action, while in 99,9% of the cases people don't spread a virus voluntarily. Still, let's please drop the argument, they are right, we are off topic by a mile.

Wait so if first started with you complaining about innocent women and children dying and now it's about enemy combatants? And it's better to accidentally kill someone through negligence than to kill someone that wants to kill you? Interesting world you live in.

Last time I checked, the Air Force doesn't drop million dollar bombs willy nilly and they try to minimize casualties to the best they can. I dont recall anytime in recent history where 100's of innocent people have died because of a US bomb target. Statistically the biggest customer of prostitutes are married men who then go spread AIDS to their wives/girlfriend. sAnd "I didn't know." isn't a good excuse. I doubt you'd be sitting here defending me if today, at work, I grabbed my M4 and unloaded my 120 rounds of ammo across the port and "accidentally" killed a person or two. Innocent people die either way. you're honestly saying it's better to die of AIDS because you didn't know you had it than to die from a bomb that you would have never known it was coming.

I'm not defending it just to defend it but i'm defending it against your ignorance. Read your first link, many of those deaths are done by suicide bombers your second link and a quick google search shows that not a single casualty report was done and i haven't been able to find a single picture of the hospital in question...dont you think it's strange that a hospital cant provide a casualty report especially when one of the "witnesses" is a docot that made it out? and then your last link is a wikipedia page that has a disparity of over 900,000 people between it's sources and once again doesn't distinguish between suicide bombings done by their own people which kill dozens of people at a time. yep people die in war and people die from aids in porn...the crux of this argument is you'd rather diea slow death from some ignorant tramp spreading a disease than a miscalculation and an explosive. Then back on topic. How many of you guys making fun of Ms Grey's prior career has even heard her in SR III? She's honestly not bad at all. The entire cast of Just Cause 2, Two Worlds and games like that make Sasha is an emmy award winning actress. There a hundreds of voice actors far worse than her.

God I love the new Gamespot. Look at it, here we are discussing whether too much penis down her throat is the reason or not of her bad voice acting. Before the new rules, this thread would've been closed just for having Sasha Grey in the title.

To stick on topic though: haven't heard her but let's be honest, it's probably not worse than some of the english dub for jrpgs. Ewwwww.

I think the biggest problem people have with Sasha Grey being the VA is this: Why are we using a porn star to do voice acting work? There are many professional voice actors out there who could do a better job than her. I mean, Yuri Lowenthal voiced Matt Miller. This shows the team picking the VAs had some sense to chose a seasoned VA - so why her? (I also have a problem with movie stars voicing 3D characters, because VAs are more qualified to do it, but I'll stop there.) But as a person who used to film porn (like camera handler) I can say this: I never shot until I received a faxed test document that stated the parties were clear. Especially when contraception (condoms I mean) were not involved. I can't do much between the test date and the shoot date, but if you had any inconclusive result, you were not permitted on set. Problem is, girls get paid more when no condom is used. And most of them are too undereducated to know that when a guy blows his load in you, you can get more than just pregnant. Abortion/pregnancy are the LEAST of your worries then. I was not filming during the HIV/AIDS outbreak in the industry but things are better since then.

I just started this a couple hours into the game, who is she playing....? That FBI agent? Maybe I haven't met her character yet but I didn't run into any bad VA so far. Besides my main characters fake austrailian/russian accent or whatever it is lol.
